As a license payer and a big fan of the BBC,can I ask why they are spending so much time chasing after SAF to appear on the tellybox? Don't bother on my account!
Because Premier League teams are given a slice of the telly revenue - and one of the conditions of them getting it is, managers MUST talk to the sports shows. Bacon-face is breaking the contract, and if he won't talk to the Beeb, Man Utd should forfeit some of the money.

Hi RZB, hope you had a good holiday.
Cheers Monkey, fantastic hols,

Not caught any footy highlights , just heard results, some of which have been bizarre, Wheels seem to have fallen off a Villa Park, What's happened there,

Them young boys seem to give us one hell of a  game,  thank god I didn't watch it live, going
3-0 , need to get if right tomorrow.

Losing their manager and few important players seems to have really unsettled them. I could not believe the score line when I saw it.

Are the rumours about Crouchy true? He's off to another club.

Some top stuff last night, looked at the team and thought it looked pretty defensive... Barry and Yaya got forward quite alot though. Hart was just unbeatable, some cracking saves made again so I think Given will certainly be off around January. The Sheikh attended his first game so it looked like they had a kick up the arse before the game. Great tackles from Kompany, Yaya, De Jong and Barry. A.Johnson and Barry prob had the best games they ever played in a City shirt. Milner was top aswell. Set up Barry for the first goal (bit of a kick in the bollox to villa in mind). Even Lescott looked decent

Great performance all around, I can't fault any player... if we can get Kolarov, Balotelli, Boateng back to full fitness we are in business.

----------------------Hart--------------------

Richards--K.Toure--Kompany--Lescott

--------------------De Jong-----------------
----------Barry------------------Y.Toure-------

A.Johnson---------Tevez----------Milner

Subs: Given, Wright-Phillips, Silva, Adebayor, Vieira, Zabaleta and Jo

Not sure whats going on with Robinho... I assume the club are trying to offload him.

I remember after the world cup the club came under quite alot of fire from talksh*te that its partly citys fault for Englands failure for bringing in foreign players. Last night we had 4 England first team players. You could also count Richards and Lescott as they are English players.

As for Doncasters chairmen.... if he wants someone to blame for Bellamys departure to a championship club then blame Fifa and their 25 man squad rule. Had it not been for that he would still be with us now.

Spurs after Ashley Young, must be tempting to play CL football however he seems happy in Brum so hope he stays put...

wouldn't he be cup tied, I'm never sure how it all works these days,  I didn't think he did much last night, He'll cost a few £££, and unless a player goes between now and Tuesday, I'm not sure where the cash will come from.

Oh no Baggies looks like will miss out on the signing of Marc Wilson
Looks as if he will go to Stoke, oh well plenty of fish in the sea.. I did think Portsmouth were desperate for money, but if he thinks he will fit in at Stoke, good luck to him.

Anfield on Sunday.  Not looking forward to this one, we recently have had a terrible record against Liverpool and even a draw would be an amazing result for us.

RZB, hope you had a good holiday and enjoyed seeing Spurs earlier on in the week.  I went to Leyton Orient on Tuesday, good match and some very good performances from players, Orient played well as well and gave us a good game.

I did thanks Pinky, shame I  couldn't bring back any sun in my case,  WHL was magical on Wednesday night, I was just happy we didn't blow all last season hard work,  good luck on Sunday, You couldn't do n worse than we do up there, We just roll over year after year. You must be happy with the Sunderland win. I think it's going to be harder in the Premiership this season, I can't see team staying up on low 30 points mark  like the last 2 seaaons.
