I wrote out a slip in the bookies and then thought better of it and backed a few horses instead! Thank Bog! Money saved. I could never see City winning 2-0 at half time.
Probably deserved that, the only positive was the set-piece from Silva that led to the first goal... bit annoyed with how crap things are being run at the min. Every other club seems to produce alot of young new talent, nothing seems to be coming out of our youth team.
Having seen Chamberlain twice in League One, I'd say he's naturally a better player than Theo Walcott. £12 million though? Another example of english players being way over-valued.

I would have preferred an experienced PL defender before we signed yet another kid but as long as we get a CB in then I'll be happy.
We are already suffering from the usual injury malaise with several players having knocks.

England v Holland friendly called off. I'm really pleased about that from a purely selfish viewpoint. At least our players won't get injured now! Who ever thought of playing a pointless friendly at the start of the season is a plonker.

Apparently Tuncay is heading this way. I've always liked him and thought there should have been an attempt to get him when he went to Stoke.
Also linked with N'Gog, and if we get both of them in then I think that'll give a nice bit of variety in attack.
