I did not. It was pretty hard to get tickets, and I was under the mistaken impression that I could watch it on TV. Unfortunately, it was on a channel that even WE don't get....and we get all those sports channels!
Glad our next game is on earlier... don't fancy getting up at 4am to watch us get our arses handed to us by LA Galaxy.

This is pretty much how I reacted last season when we were 4-0 up away at Newcastle and with some terrible defending, lunatic decisions from Phil (I'm rumoured to be under investigation from Interpol for match fixing) Dowd the ref and just general pressing of the self destruct button by all and sundry for Arsenal that day we ended up having to hang on for a 4-4 draw.

Our animals learned the hard way. My son was laying down watching a game many years ago with one of the cats lying on his stomach. We scored, son jumped up yelling and cat almost hit the ceiling!!
He never laid there again when footie was on!

It was an own goal and a half Meaty. I'm surprised that AW took the kid off at half time. He was due to come off but I thought the boss would have left him on for 10 minutes of the 2nd half to help his confidence. I think he may get a run out next Friday in the reserves at Borehamwood so it'll be good to see him live.
As for the game, we looked excellent at points during the first half going forward but our defending is still nail biting. We need a proven CB pretty quickly or it will be a long season

Looks like a deal for (do do do) Nigel Reo-Coker is imminent. So we'll have Holden, Muamba, Mark Davies, Pratley, Reo-Coker, and Gardner all capable of playing centre midfield. That should definitely rectify the problem of running out of midfielders last season.
Oh.. and then there's Sean Davis, but he doesn't really count...
A couple of strikers are needed now, preferably ones with a bit of pace.
Hope Aguero soon adapts to the english game... great player for Athletico and hope he soon fits in. Can't afford for it to go wrong with both Dzeko & Balotelli struggling to find any form.

Apparently Barton has been sacked... that club is in a right mess.
