I didn't watch the 2nd half in the end but I would have laughed to see the banner Meaty described
Liverpool fans have smuggled in 'F*** off Fergie - 5 x' banner into Barca end at Wembley...
Lol

Well its no surprise they hit back with something, few weeks ago United fans were at Anfield to unveil a "19 United" banner.

He he, the Liverpudlian natural sense of humour in all its side splitting glory! Those scousers are cards, aren't they!
Hands off the Chiles La Veg!! He is a Black Country lad and a Baggie you know!!! That's why he is so miserable!
I'm not watching, plumped for the Speedway GP on Sky Sports 4, the constant build up today has got on my nerves a bit and also the only Derby worth mentioning is on after (Greyhound Derby) I decided not to watch Sir Jeff and co.
I prescribe a large glass of something alcoholic hun ((hugs))
Hiya
Hyia hun, told you Newcastle would be ok didn't I?! Mind you, you gave us a scare last Sunday, it was a bloody good game

Aye! Hadn't you just qualified for the first time when they got us banned from europe?.. Bet you laughed all week
Liverpool in Europe...a history to be proud of!
Mohammed bin Hamman has officially withdrawn from the fifa presidential race...
Not good, so looks like Blatter will hang onto power. Just watch the corruption charges vanish
Believe it or not... I think its vital we hold onto Vieira for another year. He's too old and slow to start, but his experience and his role as a mentor is important.
In good spirits despite the loss yesterday, this Barcelona team are out of this world and by far the best team they dominated United from start to finish. Proud of the United lads for giving it a go even if it wasn't to be.
Looking forward to the summer transfers now and a revamp of the United team.
Saw WBA might get Pierre Webo from Real Mallorca? That would be a good signing for the Baggies.

A new banner is to be unveiled at the Nou Camp,MUFC 19 TIMES, in recognition of how many times ManU touched the ball last night
Thanks for posting the pic up there Heatseek
Arsenal have their own problems to worry about at the moment.
Looks like Ashley Young might be on his way to United and Stewart Downing tipped for Liverpool?

Young will leave, but Downing's not for sale.
Good Tweet last night from Danny Baker, along the lines of "Someone needs to tell Giggsy he doesn't have to be anonymous any more."

He's already confirmed he won't be signing a new deal at the moment? He does seem happy at Villa but probably itching for European football possibly.
Have to admit the Giggsy jokes are funny.
Last I heard, he still has 2 years left on his contract and the club have said he's going nowhere. We're resigned to losing Ash, but Downing's staying.
He might be seeking the clubs commitment to challenging for the top 6/8 places again because that's where Villa should be fighting for every season, rather than the collapse of this season despite finishing 9th on the last day.

Ninth was incredible, considering I thought we'd be in the mix down at the bottom only a few weeks ago!
But you're right, top six is where we've usually been, and where we should be. Beating Arsenal and Liverpool in our last two games helped.

Would have been tense if Villa lost to Arsenal but most people considered Villa safe, they did for Newcastle that season they went down and look what happened there, thankfully the same didn't happen to Villa.
Albion finishing 11th was a good surprise too!
I was pleased for Albion and Wolves - even though they don't like us - but I was even more pleased the Noses went down
Darlo you really need to come out of the closet as a true Baggie through and through. It's clear for all to see!
There's no shame in supporting your local club
Great game so far. I love the playoffs...
Welcome to the Prem (grits teeth) you Jackbasterds..
Looking forward to cricket highlights, Joe! I'm in work and OH has texted me the details
I wanted Reading to come up of the four that made the playoffs. Not looking forward to having the Swansea fans in North London next season.
Unless of course, they've decided to join the rest of us in the new century.
See Dave Jones got the boot from Cardiff according to the Beeb. Don't like him either!!
Well done to Swansea, even though I wanted Reading to win!
Good to see a Welsh team in the PL next season and that should annoy a small minority which is a bonus.
It's annoying me Darlo and chatting to other Gooners and fans of other English clubs the annoyed fans are not in a small minority.
It's the English PL 'ENGLISH'. Next we'll end up having Celtic and Rangers in it too - no doubt Naomi Campbells solicitor is preparing some discrimination case on their behalf as I type

Liverpool must be delighted swansea will be in the premier league cos its the only time they will be playing abroad next season
Not that I can crow, by the time the CL qualifiers are done I could we be watching my beloved Gooners on Thursday night Channel 5
OMG that video an Arsenal fan posted on YouTube of him going crazy after that crazy 4-4 draw with Newcastle is so funny. Can't post it here as i'd get banned due to the foul language.
I've seen it Darlo!!
I felt his pain I can tell you - and I'd like to visit that pain upon Phil Dowd with interest

Thanks Deman, though I have to say I find it's more banter between Villa and Baggies fans than outright dislike such as the Wolves/Baggies thing and the Villa/Blues thing. I will always cheer Villa on if they go further in the Cup (not difficult!) or things like that and I had some really good texts off friends who support Villa when we beat Arsenal and Liverpool last season.
I had a good laugh when the Blues went down! Looking forward to the best 2 Midland sides playing each other again next season at the Hawthorns and Villa Park
So we can look forward to trips to the Liberty Stadium, Carrow Road (one I will definitely be making, Norwich have a nice bunch of fans and play the game the right way and Loftus Road and the ever lovely Neil Warnock (!)
only caught the end of it so not sure if i heard it right...paul scholes has announced he is retiring from playing
Wow! All sorts in today's paper. BFS going to West Ham. Daddy of all the cheats Marcuse going to Villa. Still no job for Steve McClaren.
A quick browse on KUMB (which is always good for a laugh) suggests 10 years of abuse aimed at Allardyce has been transformed into him being their saviour.
Well, that and the usual mix of "we're West Ham and we play beautiful football" (not in the last five years they haven't) and "we won the World Caaap so we deserve better" nonsense...
Quite surprised Manchester Utd have offered Michael Owen a new deal. Don't get me wrong, I think he's a quality player, but the fact he hadn't been picked much made me think he'd get released. Hope he does well next season.
Ouch Owen wound up a few Liverpool and Newcastle fans on Twitter, at least Piers Moron likes to stick the boot in and is soon buttoned down.
Houllier leaving Villa on health grounds, looks like Sparky will be the new manager. I thought Jol would have been good but I cannot see it being Moyes.
