Hi Maggie, lovely to see you here. Better luck for next season for the Villa - except against us obviously!

I laughed like a goodun last night watching Birmingham go down, only thing that would have made it sweeter was if a Spurs player had gone and ruffled Ferguson's hair as he was distraught like he did to Koscielny in the CC.

Revenge is sweet

Few fms over there are pointing out that if he's been named in Parliament then he can be named in a footie fred

Hahahahaha - Tempero mods finally showing some common sense over on the official forum. Will wonders never cease

Hi everyone,
update re policy:

In keeping with the naming of Ryan Giggs now being in the public domain, we will no longer be clamping down on postings discussing the naming of Giggs.

Thanks for your time.

not the first time giggs has been a naughty boy apparently......

FOOTBALLER Ryan Giggs has been booted into touch by his girlfriend after she accused him of sleeping with another woman.

The pounds 40,000-a-week Manchester United and Wales star has been living with his mum since Stacey Cooke ordered him out of their home, saying: "Mend your ways or lose us for good."

Ryan had been set to marry Stacey - the mother of his two-year- old daughter Liberty - after convincing her his playboy days were behind him, but now friends fear the relationship is in crisis.

"Stacey's mad as hell," said a source. "Ryan's genuinely worried that it might be all over. Stacey was told that Ryan has been unfaithful to her and she's absolutely devastated. She confronted him about her suspicions and he denied cheating on her but she just doesn't believe him.

"She didn't want to kick him out but she feels she has no other choice."

Ryan, 31, returned from United's crushing Champions' league defeat at AC Milan on Wednesday nursing a broken nose and black eye from an on-pitch injury, and headed straight to his mum Lynne's home.

That evening he drove the 10 miles to the pounds 1million apartment he and Stacey, 26, share in the centre of Manchester, but spent under an hour there before returning to his mum's.

After attending a club function on Thursday lunchtime, he drove to an emotionally-charged meeting with Stacey and Liberty in the basement car park of their apartment block.

He spent just a few moments talking to Liberty - who was strapped into the back seat of a Range Rover - before he and Stacey drove off in separate directions without exchanging more than a few words. An onlooker said: "They barely looked at each other. Ryan fussed over the little girl but within moments of arriving, they left. It didn't look like the warmest of meetings."

A neighbour said last night: "He hasn't been around much lately. I presumed he was playing away a lot."

Yesterday Stacey dropped Liberty off with Ryan at Lynne's, and left immediately.

When the Sunday Mirror contacted her she denied kicking him out but on further questioning admitted: "OK, so he's with his mum. I'm not talking to you about it."

Last night a source close to the couple said: "It's really sad to see but things are going badly wrong. Stacey has told friends she thought Ryan had grown up and had become a family man. But she's been told that Ryan has been cheating on her.

"All she wants is to be a proper family and to be able to count on Ryan for love and support. She's beginning to think it's a case of 'leopards and spots'. He'll never change."

The star's womanising is legendary. His smouldering good looks and millionaire lifestyle have attracted TV presenters, models, air hostesses, strippers and actresses.

He began dating Stacey - a childhood friend - in 2002 at the same time as he was seeing PR girl Caroline Stanbury. But he appeared to have settled down with Stacey - days after Liberty was born in August 2002 he proposed to Stacey in hospital.

But in April last year she was said to have been "deeply hurt" when Ryan cancelled their wedding plans saying the time wasn't right. And last week their relationship seemed even more threatened when she ordered him out of their home.

On returning to England in the early hours of Wednesday after his injury in Tuesday's match he drove straight to the pounds 750,000 home he bought his mum last year. The new mock Tudor pile in Worsley is just yards from a plot on which work is soon to begin on a matching mansion for him, Stacey and Liberty. He emerged at 9.15am on Thursday carrying an overnight bag. He sped off in a pounds 60,000 black Audi and was spotted at 4.30pm, slipping into the private car park of his apartment for his meeting with Stacey. He has been staying at his mum's ever since and yesterday missed Man Utd's FA Cup tie through his injury.

Last night a spokesman for Giggs denied he had been kicked out and insisted he had moved in with his mum on medical advice. He said: "Ryan is staying with his mum because he got a broken nose in the European game, and Liberty is an active baby. Ryan was in danger of making it worse with Liberty jumping up and down on him, so he was advised to go and stay with his mum."

Indeed Jer, the very idea that evil foreigners with pots of cash could buy their way into living here is obviously a fabrication of the highest order

Rumours around Arsenal land that we have signed Carl Jenkinson, the young defender from Charlton. Nowt official yet, but wouldn't surprise me.

Phil Parkinson has been scouting for us since he left Charlton so he would know him well. Plus the kid has captained his youth team and country so could be a natural leader.

We still need a proper solid CD with PL experience though

We've no cash left! I think a lot of the kids from our excellent academy will be playing. Look out for more Downings and Johnsons.

Years ago we would have expected to pick up Scholes and Brian Giggs, but I think those days are gone. They can afford to pack it in at the top.

Spongebob! Shame on you for putting that shieght ^^^^^ in a footie thread. Leave it to the brain dead Sun Readers elsewhere.

Garage Joe

Quite a few Arsenal fans saying that Cesc has sold his two London houses in the last few months and they are using that to point to him being off.

I'm more worried about Nasri tbh, if he won't sign a new contract then we will have to get shot this window.

I agree with you re who we need, for all the doom and gloom (deservedly given the run of form) around Arsenal I don't think we're that far off talent wise it's just that the team seem to be suffering collective depression.

A couple of key signings could lift them all

Forget Cesc, for me RVP and Nasri are the most important players Arsenal have now.

Giggsy been a naughty man, but if his missus forgives him it's her business, as for the law well that is because how stupid it would have come out eventually? Still a hero to me in sporting terms and although as a United fan been disappointed it won't change my opinion of him as a person..

To be honest Darlo I agree with you re Nasri. Not so much RVP, but Sami Nasri definitely. The fact that the papers were saying at the weekend that he might be available for Β£12 million is shocking if it's true. In the current market he's worth double that, easily.

I'm no United supporter these days, but when I was a boy I really was, largely down to my Dad being a season ticket holder and taking me there regularly, my heroes were always Giggsy and Becks... and Giggs shagging Imogen hasn't changed that! He is still a hero of mine, always has been and always will be. Last night was like watching the old Manchester United of the late 90's/early 00's. It's just not the same nowadays. I just don't have the same affinity with the likes of Anderson, Berbatov, Valencia, Nani, Evra as I did with the likes of Keano, Scholesey, Nevilles, Butty, Becks, Giggsy, Ole, Coley, people like that. Maybe it's just cos I was a kid then and now I'm not.

IMO Arsenal would be better off selling Fabregas, the constant when will he leave is a major strain on the team (see Torres) as hard as it is to let them go, if they don't show 100% commitment to the club they don't deserve to wear the jersey.  I honestly can count on 1 hand the number of times I can remember Fabregas having a major impact on a game, he spends most of his life in the treatment room 'injured'.
