Crunchy no offense mate but you have what normal footy fans call 'Barca fever'. Pepe had Messi in his pocket and had to go, there was no two ways about it. The ref agreed.  I'd like to see him score his 'amazing' goals against 11 players when one of them has him locked up tight, ain't gonna happen the same as if Messi came to the PL he wouldn't be scoring goals for fun we have VERY tight defences. I don't count Arsenal in this as Wenger has the same 'we're not worthy' attitude towards Barca as you have.

Man U haven't, and we haven't either. They're very beatable, just don't let them dictate the run of play and they don't know what the fekk to do. Their whole game revolves around getting the ball to Messi all the time. If that doesn't happen, they don't happen. Man U can beat them if they're up for it, or fail abysmally if they're not (they were terrible v Arsenal the other day).

Prom, I seem to remember that Crunchy is Spanish (or his dad is or summat) In all the years I've been posting with him his attitude to Barca has been consistent.

As it happens I think that Crunchy is probably the most balanced person on the footy forum. He analyses teams without showing favour for his own teams mostly.

So there

I hate them more than I ever thought it was possible to hate a team - and that includes Spurs.

Stoke are scum, their fans are scum, their manager is scum and the sooner they descend back into the obscurity that their 'football' merits the better all round.

At Wembley, don't forget to give Delap a rousing chorus of 'Have you ever used your feet?'

Really? I've watched a lot of Reserves games over the last few years and I've never noticed that about Chelsea. Never saw it either when their babies beat our babies at the Bridge in the FA Youth Cup. One of the worst behaved reserve teams I've seen are Villa but even then it tends to be handbags and mouthiness rather than out and out dirtiness. Plus the Villa babies are a skillful footballing side so shouldn't need to to behave like that - there is loads of quality in their academy

Generally the refs seem really hot on tackles etc when the kids play.

FA's QPR sanctions

What an utter farce!

The decision on QPR has been delayed.

On Saturday they play Leeds at home.  How would QPR fans feel if they were playing Leeds (of all clubs) having just been docked, say 18pts putting them just 1 point above Leeds for a potential play off place?

I believe QPR will be allowed to parade the Championship trophy with a points deduction hanging over them.  Won't their players and supporters feel like idiots after parading the trophy only to be told they're runners up?  Or will they?  Maybe not, maybe the FA will decide on a fine, or maybe not.

Meanwhile, the play offs are to go ahead as planned. Maybe the football league will wait till the final points are in and decide to dock QPR a token number points to ensure they still get automatic promotion or even remain champions.  Maybe they'll drop into the play offs but then appeal and get reinstated, screwing up the play offs.

Of course, a few seasons ago QPR's Colin W (then managing Sheff U) demanded that West Ham should have got a points deduction for TΓ©vez, which would have relegated West Ham instead of Sheffield United.

Norwich have their open top bus parade next Tuesday not knowing whether to put "Championship Champions" or "Promotion" on the side of their bus!

Farcical

Not tonight, they just booted the ball up field. Even off the ball they were kicking our players

Actually, just realised that it's probably the first time you've played them as they've rejigged the Reserve League so the southern teams now play the northern teams once in a season. We've always had Chelsea and the midlands teams in our Reserve League but now we play you, Liverpool, ManYou etc too

It would be nice to get full value for money for my season ticket though
