^^^^ Note how I answered yer question before you asked it. Do I win £5? I haven't been to Rochdale for a few years. Are they still at Spotlands? The Cemetery Pub up the road was one of my faves!
Garage Joe

Yeah still Spotland. It's first time I've been there and although a small stadium, it wasn't as bad as I'd expected. They house the away fans in a section at the side of the pitch on the halfway line which is very good (and rare). Atmosphere was fantastic in the away section, especially with Dean Windass just above that section reporting for Sky Sports, he was getting a good bit of stick to say the least! On the whole I much prefer away games for atmosphere.

I've been to Hull quite a few years ago when we were both in League 2 and we were absolutely shite right at the bottom. Great stadium and was packed full even in League 2!

Crunchy Nuts

I'm about to watch the City game Mincey.  I hope you beat them. Blackburn deserve sod all having sacked Big Sam for some useless clown who has put them in a worst situation than they were in. I hope they go down.

Should win this game... we never make it easy though.

2-0 hopefully.

Piss poor... was looking good first 10-15 mins and then we seemed to nod off. I suppose at least we walked away with 3 points.

Good to hear the fans in full voice, utter stupidity from a few though using one or two certain chants... journo's already picking up on it aswell.

So, if City win their game in hand they are only two points behind Arsenal. If Spurs lose to us they are only 3 points clear of an in-form Liverpool with same games played and Liverpool have a superior goal difference. We are only 3 points clear of Arsenal too. This is going to be one of the tightest run-ins ever in the PL. The only thing that's actually decided is who wins it (nobody's going to catch Man U now). Outside of that, anything can happen. I'm loving it

They are struggling in the Bundesliga, but maybe they are putting their limited resources exclusively into the so called Champions League. Rather like Manchester United they used to have a reputation of being a blue collar team, and had the advantage of being from the "Red Ruhr!" you may remember that the submariners in "Das Boot" were all '04 fans. I wish 'em well but would rather Manchester beat one of the boring and pedestrian Iberian teams in the final. United have a poor record against teams from the Fatherland. Maybe a draw.

Evening everyone *hugs*

Business end of the season is well and truly here, I love it (well apart from the Arsenal results), it's so exciting.

Congrats Bolton Fan and Disley for the win on Sunday. The winner was a goal waiting to happen, we have been shite on a stick defending set pieces this season. We desperately need Vermaelen back fit for the whole of next season. I didn't see the game until later as I was watching our Ladies win their FACup semi final.

Can't believe these nobs are in the CL semi-final Had no intention of winning the game... whats going through the managers head? They were not gonna get any chances are old trafford.

They play slower football than us.

MrMincePie

Stoke are 3-0 up against Wolves too although they have lost Ethrington with a hamstring. Way that the legbreakers are dropping players Meaty, you will be playing against a five a side team in the final

We will bottle it, Stoke is one of our bogey teams... same with Everton. Not looking forward to the final at all.

MrMincePie

Is Schalke the German word for shit? Sorry Col but they were bloody awful! They should have kept that nutty manager who set them up to thrash Inter.

I want to see a Man U v Barcelona final with Barca getting absolutely bloody mullered I would celebrate as if I'd won the lottery. God I hate that team

Just read a remarkably tasteful article written by Mark Bright equating Tamir Cohen's tribute to his Father on Sunday with that of somebody writing a stupid message like 'I love my car' on their shirts and that it's time FIFA stepped in.

Naturally, he got a bit of stick for this so took to Twitter to maturely respond with the equivalent of 'ner ner ner you lost 5-0 to Stoke', as if that somehow deflects from how much of an insensitive little prick he is...

Mark Bright is a bitter twisted has been who knows feck all about football and even less about being a human being. Good on Tamir Cohen for his message (even though he scored against us). It's one thing when the suits who know nowt about footie try to crush any joy or celebrations; it's quite another when someone who has been a professional player and who should know better starts banging the same drum.

I'm surprised that Bright didn't praise Cohen to the hilt being that he scored against us and Bright is a self confessed Arsenal hater.

Knobshite that he is

FM

They get away with it though because Twatter and Twatini love them. Won't hold my breath for any comebacks over the halftime scenes.

Mind you, if either of them are not at full strength in the final it will play into Man U's hands

FM

Real may as well kick the shit out of them since they're going down as though they've been shot every five seconds anyway. Barcelona: utterly despicable scumbags and as close as you're ever going to get to 'enemies of football'.

You might enjoy this Prom, if you can get over the nausea of visiting a Gooner Forum.

I don't post on onlinegooner because I hate the hatred they show to AW and the club/team/board etc but when they are having a swearfest about other things then the hatred is entertaining.

There's also a thread about Phil Brown - proving that we Gooners don't hold grudges..........much
