Bellamy's been saying for a while he wants to come to Cardiff, as it's his home club and the one he has always supported.

Thats what the paper says... and it wouldnt surprise me if it was true, great player but by the sound of it he causes alot of trouble within the team.

Can't have it both ways. If City and their fans are going to keep bragging about how much money they've got, then obviously they'll have to use it. Cash plus Ireland or toddle off.

I do love this, though. Mancini never said a word of the deal, Villa came out accusing City of tapping up, I don't think the club will have a problem handing over Ireland... the guy isnt good enough to make the 25. If Villa can get the best out of him like the form he had in the 08-09 season then you got a bargain.

Of course, he's a great player. Let's hope the money makes up for being a bit-part player at City. Ireland is a great player, but Mancini hasn't given him a chance. Younger than Milner, too.

It's quite amusing seeing so-called big clubs getting in a frettie about this subject.
Those of us who go to watch less influential clubs have had to put up with this for years. My own personal favourite was when a representative of another twatty Lancastrian club approached one of our purchases at our local airport. Yes! You guessed right! It was the pantomime  dame himself, Forlan.

He's been given plenty of chances... he had last season and he played in every pre-season to prove hes worth hanging onto. Unfortunatly, it doesnt look as though he would fit in Mancinis plans. He was a great creative midfielder in 08-09... but now he just looks lost and loses the ball.
