Typical... so he's saying the plan was to walk away with a point a FT with it being 0-0 I never noticed that either, we didnt play any of the game.

To be fair, you were always up against it when Tevez left the pitch. He is always up for it, most of your lot never are, same as ours at the moment.

They're in great form at the moment. Almost definite PL winners. I don't fancy your chances without Tevez. What's the news on him? Hamstring wasn't it?

Yup, torn hamstring... could be out for the rest of the season, will wait and see what happens.

Do you think so Joe? I don't think Kenny sees it that way! I actually think that he caused a lot of trouble behind the scenes for Hodgson. He made it clear before Woy got the job that he wanted it and once he didn't get it I suspect that he agitated and undermined him at every opportunity. After all at Anfield they hang on every word that Kenny says.

Not that Hodgson didn't cause a lot of his own downfall with results and style of play but still.

Afternoon all. I can't decide who I want to lose most tonight From an Arsenal pov I would prefer to see Chelsea thump the Mancs in the league rather than the CL but I have a sneaky feeling that the Blues may well cause an upset tonight.

Course I am always wrong which I why I don't bet!

if none is a chance we have one,   It's all about damage limitation and enjoying the ride, We stayed in a lot longer that i thought we would have,  I've always been and always will be

lukewarm to the C/L, To most it's the holy grail, to some it's an obession, give the the run of the mill league anyday.  My worst fear was for the tie to be over after the first leg, and it happened.

Yeah I know what you mean but never say die eh? I actually think that most of your players are as good as Madrids on their day, you have some real quality in the side and plenty on the bench. You might pull off a win but not go through - that would be something anyway.

You could have a good chance of getting 4th too. City are looking frail and it could be like last season where you go to theirs and do them for the 4th spot.

Our form is not a patch on last seasons, yet we are now in the frame again, I don't think we'll do it, we go to 2 teams we always seem to roll over against in  Chelsea & Liverpool, plus City is a tough one, Arsenal at home is follwed by 3 home fixtures against teams in the bottom half of the league,  In the league we've not perfomed anywhere near last season, far too many draws, We must be the only club where having 10 day plus breaks in games works against us. We played 4 league games in around 2 months, and collected only 3 points. All 4 were against teams at the bottom of the league.  We could end up top 4, or we could miss out on the Europa Cup, It's a fine line.

Loads of clubs are after him. Udinese aren't a soft touch, are a selling club and have got plenty of young talent so they won't sell unless they get what they want...

Β£20-30mil and they will be getting him straight on the plane to Manchester

The goal doesn't really affect the United game much because Chelsea always needed 2 goals, however if Chelse do score and United add a 3rd thats when it will come into play. I don't see Chelsea scoring. Anelka has come close a couple of times though, but VDS is an excellent goalkeeper and half-arsed shots are no use against him.

That international chain of chip shops you have on your shoulder regarding Torres is actually embarrassing to witness. You don't, you're just fuelled by hatred and frankly, it's bloody tedious.

How about comparing how long Torres has gone without scoring to how long that 'big club' Liverpool have gone without winning the league.

How come other Chelsea players are scoring? Torres walks around with his chin dragging on the ground, he danders about the field like someone owes him something.  Whatever but, I'll stop now, but I said playing Drogba up front on his own would win the game, and had he played the 90 minutes I'm sure he would have.

I said yesterday if Lampard and Essien were on the pitch we were out. Both absolutely f*cking useless again. I'm beginning to think Lampard picks the team, no other possible explanation why we keep starting him every week. Ancelotti got lucky last season, he's been exposed this year. I hope he goes in the summer.

Grats to Man U, by far the better team over the two legs.

Chelsea have been really dung recently, and Prom even you will admit it. United at OT will be too strong. Chelsea need at least 2, I don't know where they are going to get the scores from- Drogba should be played up front on his own, or paired with Anelka the occasion is too much for Torres ans when you are fighting for CL you can't afford to experiment. Yossi and Ramires are looking good, Lamps is nothing more than a leader and Pen taker of late. I don't know how United do it, they are so shite but they manage to get the results.

Anyway, I'd rather see Shalka beat United then Chelsea

Wish I was a betting Woman.

Chelsea players are not scoring that's our big problem. Drogba is in the middle of a huge goal drought. Malouda's having a crap season. Nobody will pass to Torres because our midfield is too selfish and want to score themselves so instead of putting him through they take wild pot shots. Don't make out you know what's going on at Chelsea you really haven't got a clue. Your main contribution here is bitching about Torres, why don't you stick to that, mind-numbingly boring though it may be.
