Rid hopefully... I don't think we have had one game to actually celebrate about. The best win we had was last season under Hughes at Chelsea away. He took a risk today not playing De Jong who is one of most vital players in the side and brought Barry back in. We deserve everything we get at the minute.

Right now, I would be tempted to take off our players for the SWP and McGivern simply to prevent anymore injuries... let them run riot over us.

Was that the 4-2? Wasn't Mancini in charge then?

Oops, didnt read over my post so made an error... been a long time since we had something worth shouting about though. Could say the win against Liverpool at home felt good but nothing that really worth remembering.

Yeah, they've just had him on 5live talking and he seemed genuine and very honest about what had happened. Plus he did get them 7 points out of 9 in the three games he had them for.

Barnet are on the ropes financially even though they made a killing on all us council tax payers by the council gifting them Underhill by making an error in the terms of the contract for Underhill - or summat. Can't remember the exact details of a few years back but I know there was fury locally as it means they can sell the land that Underhill is on and make an absolute fortune and that is money that should be going to the local council. There's a lot of us think that the 'error' in the paperwork was deliberate

But we can take points of Spurs which will help us too. Its a long shot but certainly not impossible, we can beat the big teams but it's the relegation teas who have a bit of bite in them that we cant handle. Chelsea can do it, but Ancelotti needs to play Torres according to form which is shite, it seems to be causing ripples in the Chelsea camp, and I'm not just saying that because it is Torres, i said the same about Rooney for United.

RiverRock

United 2-1.

Chelsea have been really dung recently, and Prom even you will admit it. United at OT will be too strong. Chelsea need at least 2, I don't know where they are going to get the scores from- Drogba should be played up front on his own, or paired with Anelka the occasion is too much for Torres ans when you are fighting for CL you can't afford to experiment. Yossi and Ramires are looking good, Lamps is nothing more than a leader and Pen taker of late. I don't know how United do it, they are so shite but they manage to get the results.

Anyway, I'd rather see Shalka beat United then Chelsea

You're right but you've got it the wrong way around. The ripples in the Chelsea camp are due to big name players resentful of Torres coming in. Drogba, Lampard and Malouda all refuse to pass to him. He'd have five or six goals by now if he hadn't been completely ignored when in position for a tap-in.

Benayoun has to start, Lampard has to be dropped. He's been crap for months anyway. Torres and Anelka up front tomorrow with Yossi and Mikel providing service with Ramires and Malouda on the wings and Man U won't know what hit them but it will never happen. Ancellotti is Italian. He's already stating the importance of not conceding before the game has even f*cking started and we're one goal down already. We're out tomorrow night.

Players refusing to pass to him is absolute bullshit.

CompMinutes on pitchShots on target Shots off target Total (excluding blocks) Shooting accuracy (5)
Premier League 416 14.29
Champions League 201 10 80
Total 617 17 52.94

So, he has had 17 shots so obviously someone is passing to him. I scan the Chelsea forums and all I can see is people bending over backwards to make excuses for Torres, 'No one passes to him', well clearly someone is because he has had 17 shots. 'He is just back from injury' So is Carroll, 'He has to get used to playing with a new team' Darren Bent anyone? Suarez had to get used to a new league, so did Luiz, so did  Hernandez.

Fernando Torres is not the player he used to be and he never will be again, I don't know why everyone is so surprised, he hasn't  played well, he hasn't played well for 18 months or more now in 2236 minutes of PL football this year he has scored 9 goals.

I loved Torres, I was absolutley devastated when he left. I know what its like I continually made excuses for him, overlooked his poor play but in hindsight he is nothing but a sulky bitch who brings down the morale of the rest of the team. The difference between Liverpool's morale before and after Torres departure is unreal. I was devastated, then angry, then sad, but now I couldn't give a stuff about Torres i find his situation hilarious. We got the best out of him, sure he is going to score a goal or 2 for Chelsea, he may well score tomorrow night, but don't kid yourselves into thinking once he scores he won't be able to stop because Liverpool thought that after the Chelsea 2-0 game, he only scored 3 goals in the next 12 matches (then he moved to Chelsea making it 3 goals in 19 games)- not exactly setting the world alight. Torres was once a World class striker no doubt, now he isn't even the best striker at Chelsea.

Thats not bitter, its the truth, I am happier now with 2 players who want to play for the club than one who doesn't.

RiverRock

RR you sound incredibly bitter and twisted I mean seriously just 'wow' at your last post. You may be Irish but you could well be an honourary scouser with that diatribe. Big Nose Thompson still thinks you're a 'big club' while you are fighting for a place in the highly prestigious Europa League and have won next to f*ck all for years and years.

I watch Chelsea every week, I know our players. Torres is having to create his own chances because nobody else will do it for him. When Benayoun came on Torres high-fived him for putting him through. Something stinks with player power and egos at Chelsea. I know our players, you don't. If you want to believe Torres will become the worst striker ever because he left a team that wins nothing and means nothing outside of being pretty good 20 years ago well go ahead knock yourself out.
