Oxford Utd were very shaky the season after they were relegated.Had a cracking youth squad with a couple of local lads,and they couldnt afford to give the kids strips.They had to let the kids go to arch rivals Oxford city.
They've a good ladies set up tho and they're trialing my lass next month for the girls

SHes not a fancy player,but a good solid defender.Shes not the best technically,but shes got a good sense of position and is very dependable.It'll be great if she does get it as our local side have to go up to 11 a side and we dont have the depth in squad to finish the season.Sadly it looks like it will fold for her age group anyway.If she doesnt get it,she'll just carry on playing for the school.We're not expecting anything to come from it...just good experience for her

My OH said although he runs and tries so hard could you imagine him doing it in game in and game out at another side?
