Evening Mazzy Hug have to say Moyles doesn't do it for me - he is a really good manager though, I have a lot of respect for him and how he has managed with such a lack of players this season.
Anyway I have my Wenger fixation for you all to point and laugh at Mad

Spongey, that's a good point, about the smaller clubs but do you think that the cost has something to do with it?
For instance, we watch the Arsenal Babies at Barnet (Underhill) and it's free. Arsenal always play a pre season friendly against Barnet, we looked at going but the cost Eeker
I don't know if you know Underhill but it is a throwback really. They have terracing (still) on two sides of the ground and some of the seating in the home stand has limited visibility as it is so high.
They are asking 27 quid a ticket for seats and 18 for standing - I don't know about most people but I am on benefit and couldn't afford that - even just for me.
Imagine wanting to take a couple of kids Frowner

has tv played a part in the demise of the smaller teams??/

Probably not,I think. If you mean sunday league stuff,it will still be just teams families and so on.
I guess that the staggered start times of the premiership mean you can spend most of your w/e watching the premiership, but to me thats beena turn off.Apart from Spurs being my 'heritage side',I've actually got little interest in the premiership these days and support my local teams where possible.Think the days of a local side are gone(premiership wise). My OHs family are more White Hart Lane than anyone connected with the club these days.

it's 15 quid to watch b'mth.......like you say...dad and 2 kids....burger before the game....it all adds up...

i think in general....fans are being priced out of the game.....

i had to give my season ticket up cos i couldn't afford it......now i'm a member and pay for tickets as i go.....but that's 45 quid a shout....

Iain Dowie??Sweet baby Jesus..not even with beer goggles!

Moyseys eyes are just twinkly and norty! Crazy

he was at the Arsenal Ladies match at Borehamwood when we lost to Everton. His niece plays for Everton so he'd gone to support her.
Strangely he wasn't as bad in rl as he looks on the telly - and he was actually a really pleasant guy, very friendly and chatty.
Course you'd have to be with a boat like that Ninja

Not Moysey, Dowie!! Blimey Moysey is a work of art compared to Dowie. His niece is Natasha Dowie, she's quite a good footballer too.
