i don't think it's neccesarily the club who think that.....more media....who look at the 50 odd thousand they get week in week out.....and they haven't had any success for years...

the support they get...the players they have....and have had...you'd think...'this is a club that should be challenging'.....

football is a strange game....and no one is safe...complacancy(sp) is a no no....

well if ashley were to say..'this club is too big to go down'....i don't think that's an arrogant statement....i think he's talking in terms of support...the players..the facilities....everything is in place for newcastle to be a top club.....yet for some reason...it's not happening..
