The money will talk darlo but he's a good player. I think he should move. Well done for Saturday btw - they deserved it. Only the big one to go now Big Grin .

I don't have any problems with Newcastle Onetoo, they are a good club Smiler, but my problem is the whole attitude of the club that they are too big a club to be in the dropzone when it is down to the results and performances of the players you are there. Also there is other clubs fighting to avoid relegation so to say oh we shouldn't be there is a bit disrespectful to the other clubs who are all trying to avoid the drop too.

i don't think it's neccesarily the club who think that.....more media....who look at the 50 odd thousand they get week in week out.....and they haven't had any success for years...

the support they get...the players they have....and have had...you'd think...'this is a club that should be challenging'.....

football is a strange game....and no one is safe...complacancy(sp) is a no no....

but this season(if they stay up)....may not have any bearing on next season....new players in...dead wood out.....they could be flying.....

look at leeds a few seasons ago...were in the playoff final to come up....they lost but you'd of thought..they'll build on that and crack it next season....and look what happened.

well if ashley were to say..'this club is too big to go down'....i don't think that's an arrogant statement....i think he's talking in terms of support...the players..the facilities....everything is in place for newcastle to be a top club.....yet for some reason...it's not happening..

That maybe true about the facilities etc but you are going to still have the Media twist it and some of the fans might still have the attitude of the club is too big to go down. Like the other week I heard Shearer was told to go back to TV by some of the fans when he was wanted by them and only person available at the time seems a bit disrespectful don't you think?.

well fans are always going to think their team are too big to be relegated darlo.....i remember utd going down from the old division 1....and their fans saying it wouldn't happen because utd were 'too big'....i guess it's misplaced loyalty....

as for shearer...i feel sorry for the bloke....it was a poisoned chalice....he inherited a side in trouble.....yet was built up by....(yep the media again) as a messiah who would save them...... some toon fans.....remembering how he saved them on the pitch perhaps thought the same

but fans can be fickle....you can be a hero one week....and a fool the next....
