I won't shed tears if we don't make the Europa
cup, I predicted Man City to finish 7th...

You know, I've sussed, I'm not good at predicting. Big Grin

Hey whatever happens mate, you have had an amazing season after the bad start and that new Europa league thingy will be a bind to the teams that enter it i reckon

All if's and buts, i want Pompy to get the 3 points tonight, puts the Mackems in trouble as well...

I think it will be a draw,

a point will probably be enough to
keep Sunderland up. It's hard to believe Hull could stay up on 35 points. West Ham went down on 42. Confused If went down if you didn't get 40 points, 6 teams would be relegated. While the top 4 are so strong, the rest of us are piss poor... Frowner

If your off football, how about supporting
Arsenal. Big Grin

No i would still rather support an English team whatever the sport was Big Grin

Which one is that then?
Ah! If only it were so simple. My lot put out a team of local academy lads a while back. It did nothing to increase our support.

I would bet on Fulham struggling in the league next season on the back of it.

Agreed, i am not sure how many games are involved in the new Europa league, but a biggish squad are gonna be needed, and Villa, Everton, Fulham and you guys arent over lavished in numbers

Funnily enough i was looking through our youth and academy teams, and hardly any are local lads, most are from Europe and South America Shake Head

We have loads of local lads. I just wish we could get another local lad Tony Mowbray back off the baggies but I suspect that he is going nowhere.

Good call, although the Baggies are down, i like his management style...do you think thats that for Southgate or will your chairman back him again.

Apart from Steven Taylor (who was born in London) and Andy Carroll and Shola, we have not seen an academy player hit the first team for about 5 years now

We have a great youth set up,
it's just they never seem to give them a run in the first team. Frowner

There is this lad called Nile Ranger (great name Big Grin) who is blinding in the reserves squad, hes made the bench twice for us but thats it...he needs a good run out for us.

You will probably hear more of him next season in the Championship Big Grin

I know its crazy the way it has worked out this season, as you said it just shows how many piss poor teams are in the Prem.

Its turning into the Scottish league Eeker
Not quite Laugh

Dunno why the big two in Scotland and the top 8 in England dont form a super league with fewer fixtures to take into account European fixtures.Would stop Birmingham and West Brom see sawing between the leagues

Late answer-I have other duties today.
I fear that the Chairman is backing Southgate. He has no experience of bringing a team out of the Championship, has he? It's not an easy job.
I fully expect the Baggies to be back at the first attempt.

As you said, i dont think they will let him move on, the fans seem to love him and the support he got from the game yesterday was unreal considering that they went down.

Coppell has left Reading now, he would make a very good replacement, Gibson needs to look further than Southgate
