Evening everyone

Saw this article in the Mirror lambasting Platini and his silence over the Cesc debacle. I agree with the writer - I'll bet Platini would have plenty to say if it was an English club trying these dirty tricks with Barca or Juve

There's also a fair bit of gossip that we have been linked with Joe Cole. Thanks but no thanks is my take on that. The last thing we need is another injury prone crock and I haven't forgotten his display this season against our reserves when he was totally owned by a bunch of babies. The most spectacular thing he did the whole game was a dive that Klinsman would have been proud of

Woo Hoo Baggies have signed Steven Reid from Blackburn on a 2 year deal beating Celtic to his signature, they are also close to signing Pablo Ibanez from Atletico Madrid on a free transfer to boost their defence.

Wolves are on about signing Steven Fletcher from Burnley.

Chicarito has got his work permit and can join United in July.

How the hell has Walcott managed to start
Suppose Capello is checking options for group matches.  Mr Pink will be pleased that Huddlestone has got a start, but thinks that he may be too slow for the midfield.  I disagree myself and Capello has to try other options if Barry is not able to go to South Africia.

Good luck to Dag and Redbridge and Rotherham (and their ancient looking goalie!) this afternoon, the very last match of the domestic season.  Congratulations to Millwall and bad luck Swindon.

Really looking forward to the World Cup now....

Wolves plan to increase the capacity of Molineux to 50,000 in a few years but staying in the PL for a while longer is important to the plan.
Darlo, do not upset me before the England match!!!!!!  Good luck to them seriously, they do have a nice ground already (said through clenched teeth).  The Wolves fans have already been bragging on 606 about this, if I was them, I would worry about second season syndrome.  There isn't really much more could be done to the Hawthorns, with the housing and factories around it, though I hope the club do decide to do something with the Hawthorns pub, it is a shame to see it boarded up.  There were plans to make into the supporters club/club shop, but we already have a brand new club shop in the East Stand.

Fabio Capello has gone 4 4 2.

Looks like the Pablo signing is delayed till Tuesday according to the E&S and the interest in James Beattie could be withdrawn because of his supposed wage demand
Not sure Darlo, Mr Pink left the Star in the car last night so didn't get to read it, and not surprised about the Beattie thing to be honest.

Nice to see the footy fred busy again... expect it will get busier when the World Cup starts.  The World Cup, last Big Brother and Wimbledon, good summer this year for me!!

other teams on walcott.

rawk.

If Walcott gets picked ahead of Johnson, Lennon or Cole then it's a f****** travesty. Awful, awful player.

Why the f*** is Capello persisting with that overated and average player Walcott?

I cant believe that walcott is pretty much a certainty to go to the world cup, he is USELESS.
His first touch is more like a ten yard pass, he always gives time to the other team to get players back and in position before he goes at the full back. And every single time he loses the ball he has gone down pathetically trying to claim he been fould. Absolute waste of f****** space

I did think that Millwall might blow it after last years playoff but credit to them - their defence has really held firm over the playoffs. How do you think you'll do in the championship Croc?

Big congrats to our England U17 babies as well winning the Euros, that Connor Wickham is a serious talent. I saw him play for the Ipswich babies against us at Barnet and he was outstanding.

Evening all, not a good performance from England today, but I will be happy if they are saving the best for the World Cup.  Second half was an improvement, but it was not what I expected from a team who after all are less than two weeks away from the World Cup and with players in who would want to be considered for the final squad.  I noticed that Mr Capello did not look very pleased with the team either, I would imagine there were some very strong words in the dressing room at half time.

Well done to Dagenham and Redbridge and commiserations to Rotherham in the final match of the domestic season.

It should have been the first XI on from the start today... Now their first game together for a while is the first game against USA. Genius
I was a bit surprised at some of the selection and tactics. We seemed to veer between a 442 and a 433 and I thought it was weird to play SWP on the left and Joe Cole on the right when they were both on. I think he should have started with his first choice 11 - at least for the first half

Hi Pinky LTNS Hope you're well.

This pretty much sums up the moronic vendetta against a player before he has even been given a chance.  Unlike many others who could have been singled out in that game.  Frankly its getting very tired and old and doesnt do England as a team any good at all.

I thought that too but then again i thought he is obviously not giving anything away now re tactics .  They are on the field not necessarily playing where they will come the WC
