I roared tbh, made a change from all the dire 'pass the razor blades' or Wenger must go tosh that has been around the Gooner internet for the last couple of days. I'm ok thanks, not been around for a while but getting back into forum life. I managed to watch our Ladies all season and our babies (Reserves) and our Academy babies quite a bit too and we have some great talent coming through. Are you going to the Emirates Cup? I managed to get seats for both days in block 1 behind the Arsenal bench so looking forward to it a lot.
I dont get the chance at the moment so probably not.  I dont know who these idiots think we would be better off with.  Careful what you wish for.

It does look good for the future, trouble is its going to take another 5 years or so to really see the benefit.  Still it might not be too long hopefully before some of the more talented start to make the first team worry a bit .

Edit just seen the chesterfield fan

Well done Blackpool for joining us and Newcastle in the Premier League next season.  An excellent game, credit to both teams.  Well that's the Championship season over and done with, roll on August for the start of the Premier League again.  All I would say to any Blackpool fans, is enjoy it, it's a roller coaster, scary but fun as well.

Well done Jose Mourinho any excuse I'm afraid for a photo of him

Onetoo, exactly, survival is the most important thing this season, we need to stop being the yo yo team and consolidate in the Premier League, still I have a feeling that Di Mat could just be the man to do it, as he is not afraid to change things if things aren't going right, that would have to be my one criticism of TM, I loved the football we played under him, but there was never a Plan B where he was concerned, we played one way only, exciting to watch, but also sometimes bloody stupid, with a little technical nous we would not have gone down when we did, 3 points, 1 win could have saved us, with Di Mat, you always got the feeling that we could come back at teams, there were quite a few wins and draws we had last season where I said at the time that under TM we would have lost that match, having said that, we will now be playing alongside some of the best players in the world.  But strangely this season I have a little confidence that it could finally be our time in the Premier League.  I wish Newcastle and Blackpool all the luck as well, apart from when you play us!!  (obviously!!)  I really rate your manager as well, one of the quiet men who really get things done.

Darlo, pleased about Tamas, but and it is a big but, the same as Olsson, who I rate highly as a player, he has got to learn to control his temper and tackling on the field, what is just about acceptable in the Championship will in no way be acceptable in the Premier League and he will have to realise that he is going to be facing some of the best forwards in the world and deal with the aggression accordingly.  Gutted about RoKo, really wanted him to stay, but if he feels he need to change teams, then all the best to him and I really mean that.  He has been one of our best players in recent years and also has played in the Premier League, that is my biggest worry about Dorrans, excellent in the Championship, but an unproven player in the Premier League, you only have to look at Ebanks~Blake for this, brilliant for Wolves in the Championship, yet has hardly set the Premier League alive.  I hope Dorrans will mature into something special, the signs are there, but I will wait and see how he copes with life in the Premier League.

I agree saw that article in the E&S, fiery character but it affects the team if he does something stupid. As for Dorrans he seems happy at Albion and why would he want to leave when he's getting first team football most of the time?, most footballers are ambitious although you do get ones who have sense.

RDM plans to improve the defence which obviously is needed, anyway chuffed Inter won the Champions League and really can't wait for the World Cup.
darloboy (Play The Game!)
I fell asleep during the England match last night, combination of hot weather and being really tired and missed the goals! In fact all I saw was the National Anthems and about 2 minutes of play and I was gone. That will teach me to let Mr Pink watch the speedway on the TV downstairs and go to bed to watch the England match!!

Hoping to catch them during the day on SSN, or does anyone know of a way I can watch the highlights/whole game online?

Sorry excuse my manners ~ good morning all footy fans!

Edit to my above post:~  I have found that it is on ITV4 today at 12.25 so am going to watch it then.  Don't really expect a brilliant performance, would far prefer them to keep those for next month.  Can't wait for it all to start now, missing football already.

Breaking news Celtic are denying reports linking them with Rangers striker Kris Boyd.

I'm sorry but this just reads like sour grapes to me.  Blackpool won fair and square on Saturday and beat Forest fair and square over two legs in the semi finals.  Yes, it happens and you are gutted, I mean we got all the way to Wembley and Derby beat us there, but on the day they deserved it.  I hate articles such as this and am glad that so many people have come out and disagreed with him, the comments at the end are true.  Yes, Blackpool will struggle and yes they probably will be relegated this time next year, but what a season their fans will have, and I'm guessing a lot of away fans will enjoy a weekend up there ~ me, I'm hoping for the fixture to coincide with the Illuminations!

This is the type of thing that has been posted on the West Brom 606 boards all season, very annoying but at least we have had the last laugh
