Glad to see Swindon win and Bolton youngling Danny Ward scoring a couple of goals over the two legs, and score one of the penalties.
He looked better than the ÂĢ8.2million donkey that I normally see playing up front...
Disley - Wardy has been a revelation for us this season - how he and the other youngsters kept their composure during the pens I'll never know - I was a nervous wreck!!
Everyone bigs up our front two - Charlie Austin and Billy Paynter, but without him on the wing they may not have scored half as many!!

tough on Charlton, they've not been out of the top 5 all season. but one club had to lose, Swindon created the most chances over the 2 games.
Well done to Swindon, saw the highlights and this season Charlton have simply not been good enough to go up however the final will be good.
Millwall fan gets a smack.
Good stuff Well earned aswell

His own fault.
So City after Milner what you think about that Meaty?, personally I think he won't leave Villa.

Personally couldnt care... we don't need him, we need a LB and RB

Yes the defence does need sorting out.Mancini can bring stability to the club.
I think its Bullsh*t that Barce can come and take players from the EPL that they can not afford.
Where the hell is this money for Torres and Fabregas coming from? Not to mension them also buying David Villa from Valencia

Barca haven't mentioned nothing about Torres, he'll stay at Liverpool IMO though they do want the other 2 really bad.
Catalan Government will help them out for sure if they need some more money like the Madrid one does do for Real.

Must've been great for the neutral fan - me - I've got no nails left!!
Barca are pretty minted along with Real Madrid because of their completely unfair television deals. They both get around 40% of the revenue. Imagine if that were the case here, there would be riots lol.
Though because of the financial problems of other spanish clubs who are lobbying the government to change this they may well lose this financial advantage soon. Or maybe they just get bailed out by the local mayors again
What infuriates me is that Platini and Blatter are all too happy to criticise the EPLs finances but dont say a thing about spanish ones.

Poor Valencia, I hope Sevilla don't go the same way.
Did read rumours Barca have offered Zlatan for Cesc.
Them pair are are total tools, talk so much crap.

I found this interesting article in the er, Daily Star.
"If Platini and Blatter really believe English football should follow this example, we can only be grateful they are not working at the Premier League"

Hey Veggie, how are you?.
I know most Arsenal fans don't want to lose Cesc and even though he will eventually go at some point maybe Wenger should take a leaf out of Fergie's book and end the constant speculation once and for all, then take the cash which could then be used to get other players which the team is in need off especially in defence with Gallas looking to be off.

So how did the Norf London Exiles do in the end? We'll be able to draft Cesc in for next season by the look of things

The Arsenal forums are in melt down over this Cesc thing - all sorts of dire predictions about AW following him out etc etc.
I was up at the Arsenal training ground at the weekend watching the Ladies play (can I just mention PL champions for 7th year running ) and we were talking about this as the story broke. I thought that he would be off then and it is looking more likely by the hour.
What I will say is this: He is under contract to us until 2014. He should not be sold if it goes against the wishes of AW no matter what money/players are offered but....... if we let him go we should tell them to pay at least 50 million. Otherwise I'd sell the sod to Man City for the 80 mill they are rumoured to be offering

I think we were the Darlington of that league that's for sure, but It proved a point why they were sold in the begining, I think we played most of the season with less than 11 players on the pitch, How did it work out for the Arsenal ladies in the end, I know they lost the cup for the firsat time ever, but did they manage to win the league, you know we've 2 north london teams dipping their toes in the ocean better known as the champions league next season, who would of thought it from bottom to c/l in18 month in the hands of a second hand car sales man.Reference:

Congrats, what a surprise in the cup though.
Fabianski's been having a not so good time recently lol.

that answers my post..... Millwall have gone one up.
Fingers crossed Spurs get a good draw in the CL qualifiers RZB, best to avoid Sevilla although you could get Sampdoria.
Bet Croc is nervous.

I can't remember how to quote on here RZB - it's been that long!!
I was up at Nottingham for the Cup Final, the weather was bizarre, it was all 4 seasons in the space of 2 hours.
We beat Everton at ours the next Sunday and duly won the league. Not a bad achievement considering all our top players have gone to the States.
I've replied to the dialogue you sent me btw.

it would be a shame to go out in the qualifier after all the work of this season, but wouldn't be impossible to happen, but I believe we go in a round later than Celtic, and we are seeded, not sure how it all work, I just had a weekend at Alton Towers Darlo, I guess that's not that far from you, Had a great time.Reference:

I haven't been to Alton Towers since my two were boys - we stayed in a lovely little village within walking distance - such a pretty area.
RZB are Spurs in the Wembley cup this year? We have got Celtic, AC Milan and Lyon in the Emirates cup. I am going with younger son both days. We have tickets in block 1 behind the Arsenal dugout - maximum stalkage!!

Money talks, so I guess they probably will be, but with the C/L games around that time, we may opt out, Last year it was held at the end of July.

My elder boy (the ManU fan) played at Stamford Bridge on Sunday in a charity 7 a side tournament for his company. We were laughing at the thought of him having to battle his way through thousands of Chelsea fans milling around the ground for the parade

We managed to cover most of the rides, queues were around an hour for the best ones, 13 the new ride for this year took about 90 minutes to get on, worth it though
United are heading to Ireland, they've agreed to play a friendly against Guadalajara as part of the Javier Hernandez deal too.

Whoo hoo I've remembered how to quote!! Someone told me that Rangers are playing in it - no surprise there, the organisers always want them or Celtic for the huge number of fans they bring.I've heard from a few people that they were meant to be holding it at the same time as the Emirates cup. That will mean huge trouble as there will be 5000 Celtic fans in London at the same time
Its better to be in the CL qualies than not but it does play havoc with your pre season

The players were presenting the taking part medals too LOL. Before he went we were coming up with ways to accept the medal from each player in a suitable fashion.
I thought that he should refuse to shake JTs hand!
Son's idea was even better - wait until Drogba goes to shake hands then fall on the fall screaming in agony and rolling about for 5 minutes
