Well this season we've had a win and a draw with boht Swindon and Charlton and a draw and loss to Huddersfield....and 2 wins over bloody Leeds!!


We lost form in the last few weeks off the season and dropped points when Leeds did instead of capitalising on their misfortunes...still...I'd rather them up than Charlton!

I think you'll do it this season Croc,    when is the final this year, I know the Championship one is a week early,

Spurs lost to Burnley and we only got a draw against west ham... that is a kick in the bollox.

Although Manchester United beat Stoke 4-0, Chelsea destroyed Wigan 8-0, so are the Premier League champions.

Well, next weekend that might well be the case!

I have a passing interest in football, but am not fanatical about it. I want England to do well at the World Cup, but I'm not going to go into a deep depression if they don't. I am a self-employed accountant dealing with people's tax returns. When I visit my clients I don't want to talk just about tax because that's not very friendly and I'm quite a chatty person. It helps if I have some knowledge about a wide range of topics as different people have different interests. Locally Gloucester is a major rugby union place, so although I have little interest in rugby I need to have some idea as to what is going on.

And so on we go to another summer of ridiculous transfer speculation and probable ultimate disappointment at the World Cup...

In other news Chung Yong Lee cleaned up at the clubs 'Player of the Year' awards last night, with Player of the Year, Players Player of the Year and Best Newcomer...

I am not a football fan, but I have a question which may seem trivial.
I notice that when a team is celebrating these days the fashion seems to be to bounce up and down on the spot.
How long have they been doing this? Why? Who started it?

16:00 on a Sunday is never a good time for me so I manged to avoid all the scores and watch it unfold on MOTD. I'm never pleased to see Chelsea win but well done to them-they deserved it. I hope Ashley, Frank, and John carry their form onwards to the World Cup!

Our season fittered away a bit but we did a lot better than most pundits predicted.

Heres hoping for an active transfer window for us this year for a change.

I don't think it is the absolute truth, but us Baggie fans like to think we invented it along with our Boing, Boing, Baggies, Baggies chant after we score a goal, then leading into the "Lord's my shepherd"!!  We have been doing the boinging since 1993, not sure where it started exactly, if we copied it off another team, but we are well known for it.

Well done Chelsea and very bad luck to Man Utd, but another exciting finish to the season, it has been an enjoyable one in all divisions I think.  Well done to Leeds as well.

On a more sombre note, today (11th May) is the 25th anniversary of the fire at Valley Parade, Bradford's ground, where 56 fans died.  RIP to all of them, they went to watch a football match and never came home.

I'm trying to get my head around how Walcott and Wright-Phillips have been chosen ahead of Young. They've both had very average seasons, and I'm being generous there.

Not to mention Jamie Carragher's inclusion, he threw his toys out of the pram years ago, so he shouldn't be anywhere near it.

This is an odd one, I've not seen a great deal of him this season, and when I have, he not stood out, Although he was a very good player a few season back.

So basically it's ok to throw your dummy out of the pram and retire when it suits you and then after a change of manager, forget all that and allow yourself to be picked for the World Cup provisional squad....

HAHA...thats a forward line to scare the crap out of anyone else...NOT!!

carragher's inclusion is a joke.......he quit international football cos he was fed up being sub......apparently he WILL be included in the final squad.......as cover for the c/b's and r/b roles......so he's still going to be a sub!!........he quit and spat his dummy....he should be left to sulk and take players who want to play for england....not one who had a hissy fit....has played no part in qualifying.......and isn't even that good.

Thank God the Sky Sports report about Owen Hargreaves being possibly included isn't true.

Be positive Croc, I can't see them not making Wembley for sure, then they  are much stronger than either Charlton or Swindon for the final, I think the experience of last may will help ,  It's  how they would cope if promoted that would worry me,
