stuck a tenner on a spuds 2-1 win at 9/1 and won ÂĢ90
Well done, looking forward to Saturday.

Well done Spurs.. Arsenal lost their game in hand but in terms of title race Chelsea have it won tbh.

Arsenal had lots of possession as expected but had not much shots on targets, where as Spurs msde the most of their chances when they got them.. Van Persie made the difference to the Gunners play when he came on but Spurs played well especially at the back and Arsenal were dominant at times.

Villa drew 2-2 against Everton, oh well at least they will be in top 6 again at least.

TBH I didnt think the Rose goal was all that good, Almunia fell over and wasnt even in his net... the only credit he gets from me is that he had the confidence to shoot from that distance.

Also, read in he paper this morning that half a million tickets for the world cup have still not been sold, thats including the final and it doesnt surprise me at all. Target for terrorism and theres probably a huge chance you will see someone or yourself will get shot. Even after it finishes when there have been numerous murders the WC officials will claim it was a "Huge Success"

I was surprised at the figures. Apart from SA the next big sellers were the USA and then the UK. Australia and Japan were well represented too. They say lessons have been learnt and a different regime of ticket sales will exist in Brazil (another inappropriate choice IMO) No-one will actually say that yer average football fan is avoiding South Africa.

Never seen such a piss poor ref, foul after foul on Adebayor and only a yellow handed out to Evra. One touch on Rooney and we get a yellow. Barry clipped in area... nothing from the ref.

Should be a hefty ban on Rooney the cnut, trying to kid the ref then jumped straight up. Surely an investigation there. Nominated for PFA my arse... in the refs ear the whole game, blatently kicked De Jong and no yellow, he goes down to ground clutching his foot and then jumps straight back up and full speed ahead when Kompany is given a yellow card. Asking for a good kick in if you ask me...

Corruption.

On another side,

We were poor, very anti tactics by Mancini aswell... bringing on Ireland, SWP and Vieira cost us the game. Bringing on Vieira was possibly the worst sub, too slow and and way past it. Thank f*ck we are not in the champions league, can't cope with this stuff week in week out.

right down through the Divisions-you must have done!
Hmmm not really, when myself and my Dad went to maine road around 96-99, I was still young... he said I never really paid attention to the games, I was dragged to watch City at that time as I was too young to be left home alone so I wont be able to remember any shocking decisions. For me anyway I think the standard of refereeing in the EPL is worse than the lower divisions... perhaps im wrong though, I don't often watch other football than the premier league so its hard to judge.
