The great thing is if he takes the Hull job he'll lose the rest of the money he's owed...
Alan Curbishley has turned it down right?.
I have to say, we don't often agree over footie but I have been impressed with Boltons play since Coyle took over. He is definately trying to get them to play footie, they are more attractive to watch and will be even better when Coyle manages to get in more of the sort of players he wants
Hi Darlo
Hull chairman Pearson was on 606 earlier and he has categorically ruled out Curbs but won't comment on anyone else. He said he has a shortlist of 5 or 6 and will have someone in place by the weekend but that's all.
Megson is favourite because Pearson was in charge somewhere else and hired Megson before.
He would be a disaster for Hull. I can't stand them for a variety of reasons but I don't think their style of football is actually that bad
Hiya Veggie . Hull ain't that bad I would rather but think they and Burnley are joining Pompey in going down...
Cardiff might finally be getting rid of Risdale woo hoo.
I'd like Burnley to stay up tbh, In an ideal world I'd like Birmingham or Stoke to go down but that won't happen.
Portsmouth have gone even without the points deduction, Hull likewise I think.
Spongey's OH should be happy tonight, Bournemouth got an injury time equaliser.
Gotta love those injury time goals
Always next season. Perones will be chuffed with how Bury are doing, hope he comes back soon, yeah Bournemouth are doing well so the Spongees will be happy.
Shocked about Becks, and Phil Brown, very strange indeed the way he was sacked, happy we are back second in the Championship, and hoping for a good win tonight to consolidate that position.
Hope to be back annoying you all soon as I do miss you all xx
Good result Saturday? Or do you think 'Boro should have won?
Corruption
Erm... Yeah. Wear an anti-glazer scarf when you work for Glazer.
Clown.
What could possibly go wrong now?
Joe, do you listen to Danny Baker on 5 live on Saturday morning? He tells listeners to wait until they are 2-0 up at a game and then to stand up and declare loudly "Nothing can go wrong now"
And then wait for the abuse!!
BBC are reporting that Hull will appoint Ian Dowie as manager tomorrow.
All I can say to that is at least it's not Smegson
I podcast the show every week, great show, v funny, although where he goes for the
"nothing can go wrong" line, I more the chewy finger nail type, when we are 3 up with 2 minutes to go.
I wouldn't want to wear a France top.
I think he's a local around that area Croc, it's either there or Eltham, it's a great show he does on a Saturday morning.
