just got back from the bridge.........we were woeful.............as for the booing of bridge.......it started as a section of the crowd......some applauded him........i think the real booing started after (i presume cos i couldn't see from where i was sat) that terry offered his hand and bridge refused it in the pre match formalities................i should also say city fans booed john terry as well....

first half we had alot of possesion........and went ahead......only for a soft goal the granny wayne rooney loved so much could've saved!!....it trickled into the net..

second half we didn't get going....city scored again and then came the penalty and first sending off.........again i couldn't tell if it was or wasn't cos it was at the other end.............same as with ballack later....though it seemed he went through the back of tevez so deserved it.......

on the subject of tevez he got everything...anyone went near him and he went down and got a free kick....fair play to him.....though i thought mike dean was an appalling ref giving decisions both ways that were for nothing.......i'm not even sure our penalty was a penalty......but will catch up with it all on motd later

city deserved the win and we got a kick up the arse.......ancelotti made some strange choices....again going for malouda at left back rather than ferriera who was on the bench.....and substituting coley when he was more effective than ballack........

as for bellamy......hearing him gobbing off about terry on the radio made me laugh..........craig bellamy is not a paragon of virtue given his off field antics.......people in glass houses etc etc..........far more eloquent was shay given who said that he wasn't going to be drawn into it and just wanted to talk about the match

From what I have read most fights have not even been started by him, its usually opposition fans confronting craig. He's gobby at times, but just gives his honest opinion.
so an opposition fan whose a woman gives him a bit of stick so it's ok for him to wallop her?........most fights?...he's been in alot then?!........you can't excuse someone just cos they play for your team and plead he's innocent......he's been brawling in nightclubs for donkeys years...if he gets that wound up and giving his opinion means walloping someone...maybe he should stay away from the club scene

I know hes no saint, but he does get alot of grief off the field... it was only last month when he was out with his wife and kids he was attacked from behind, giving him abit of stick... probably does provoke if its about his family.
MrMincePie
i can understand that meaty.....he should be allowed to enjoy time with his wife and kids hassle free.....incidents i'm talking about are when he's out with his mates....boozed up in a bar and gets himself in fights.....one of which was in a nightclub in cardiff where he punched a woman......that's inexcusable........

highly paid footballers know they attract attention......whether it's from opposition fans on a night out....or from women throwing themselves at them.......they react and they're in trouble.....they go off with a woman same thing.........they have to be more responsible for themselves and not continually whine it's someone elses fault

Stoke fans are pure trash - singing 'there's only one Ryan Shawcross' after he was sent off.
Just as classless as Birmingham fans celebrating the horror tackle on Eduardo.
Before the game I said to my son I'll bet we end up with 2 or 3 players injured from the Stoke dirtyness - never thought they would go that far though.

Veggie  have to admit to having a little tear, the Stoke fans like the Birmingham fans are a poor representation of Midland fans and and if their reactions are anything to go by are not even football fans.On a lighter note i had a knee op 2 weeks ago and am non weightbearing for 8 weeks ,my consultant is the same one who operated on Eduardo and seeing him playing today when it was thought his career was over was great.Good luck with the title race and hopefully Ramsey will make a full recovery

darlo we've been due a battering for weeks.........it was always coming........and isn't helped by having hilarious in goal atm!!...according to the matchday programme he may be included in portugals world cup squad......they must be desperately short of keepers!!!

veggieeeeeeeeeee xxxxx..........see that's what i find classless....not ppl booing bridge or terry......but goading a player being carried off with a serious injury.....that is really sad to hear.........majority of fans are sporting when it is obvious a player is seriously injured

Lets get real here. It's awful that Ramsey has broken his leg, but the tackle its self wasn't that bad. It wasn't even a red card imo, but leg breakers are always going to get that outcome. It's very unfortunate that he's broken his leg but both players were going in for the ball and it was the speed that they were both going in for it that has resulted in an unfortunate collision which has sadly put Ramsey out for a year.

Disaster! I saw that Villa/Manchester was 25/1. Nearly!
I enjoyed what I saw of the Chelsea game on my travels. JT, apart from a slight loss of form, showed himself to be a man. If Tevez had threatened you or I like that we would have flattened him. Nice to see the wheels coming off Chelsea though and I'm still hoping my bet on Arsenal pays dividends.
