Some really good football this weekend and best of all the Baggies won and got some points back on Forest who's starting to get on my nerves a little. Not helped by the fact that I just cannot stand Billy Davies at all, horrid little man!!
Our game in hand on Wednesday, which we need to win and Blackpool are playing well so should be a good match.
About John Terry. Always liked him as a footballer, think he is one of the best defenders in the game, but not keen on these latest revelations in his private life. I can see him losing the captaincy, but hopefully not to Gerrard who I cannot stand, something about that man just irritates me, I know he is a really good midfielder, world class, but I think it stems from the '06 World Cup build up on TalkSport, when it was constantly that Lampard should not play because Gerrard was and as a huge Lampard fan, I felt this was wrong. Along with some other FM's on here, I think Gareth Barry would be a good choice, captain at Villa, good player and one I think the team would listen to, Rooney's much too volatile to be captain yet and Cashley - I don't think so somehow!! Sadly John Terry has broken the unbreakable rule, don't shit on your own door step with a team mates partner, and I think that people will find that hard to accept.

I think the issue is deeper than Terry resigning as England captain. If players, City players in this instance, no longer have respect for him i think it causes problems whether he is captain or simply a fellow team member.

It always amazes me how such stories appear in world cup year as Joe said this morning, glad to hear that his wife and kids are not in the country at the moment, frankly she probably couldn't stand being near him without hitting him, stupid, stupid man. Yes saw that the young lady concerned had signed with Max Clifford, so we can expect the whole story to appear over the next few weeks.
