Togo expelled from next 2 African Cup of Nations what a joke.
Villa 2-0 up at Fulham.
According to Sky Sports Victor Moses is in talks with Wigan, he's better off going to WBA, Forest or Newcastle IMO but his choice if he wants to warm the bench at the DW.
What a season for Brum.
Newcastle drawed, another boost for Albion 2 points away from Forest now.
Saddlers got first point in a couple of games.
Im not sure if I believe it or not, I was quite shocked when he told me. He likes to wind me up often but I don't think he was making this up, I know he works quite high up with one of the tabloids.
Bridge keeping quiet as expected just saw some pics on SSN.
really?.
expect the kiss and tell story very soon........
whilst john terry is a complete plank in all this.....miss perroncel it should be noted was very close friends with j.t's wife toni......
i think j.t and miss perroncel seem a match made in heaven..........
whilst there are calls for him to be stripped of the england captaincy.....the names who spring to mind to replace him are hardly paragons of virtue......gerrard,rooney,ferdinand,cole,lampard have all been in the news for the wrong reasons.......
now this decision of a player having the 'right to a private life' has been overturned......i bet there are alot of footballers crapping their pants this evening.........
i think haiti, the tsunami disaster, worldwide famine etc etc are far more important than john terry not keeping his cock in his pants.......
edit........maybe stubbs got tongue tied in his excitement and meant the 'worst weekend known to THE MAN.'.......as in john terry..........however his perpetual excitement over a grubby affair was nauseating
The players should be worried lol but they put themselves in the limelight so should be used to the spotlight by now although the papers do like to try and find out every single thing so have a right to moan in that instance. Terry got lots of grovelling to do lol.
PMSL them pundits always go OTT, when the players moan they should immediately think theres worse things happening elsewhere.
however it depends on how capello sees it.....if he's adamant he wants to keep him as skipper no way will j.t give it up.........
if capello wants him ousted..a resignation will be seen as the smoothest way to deal with it........no rocking the boat before the world cup.....publicly it'll be touted as a result of talks between capello and terry........
I think Barry is the perfect player for the captaincy, on the field hes a great leader... off the field he is never in the papers or looking for attention. A great role model to younger people. I know alot of people will talk about the money issue in his move from villa to city, but im pretty sure he was probably already on a huge wage at villa. there were many rumours about players coming to city at the time and it was all talk about this ambition of breaking the top four and being in the champions league, it would attract any player... though most are already settled at a successful club.
What about Carlo Spongey?, I suspect he will stick by Terry but I would presume he's one of those managers who take no rubbish and like to keep in control.
but on the other hand i still maintain these players are paid ridiculous amounts of money......i was reading the other week about a 17 yr old kid at utd whose supposedly the 'next big thing' signing a deal worth 50 odd grand a week....
now even if the papers have gone ott and it's say 15 grand.....what 17yr old needs 15 grand a week????.........no wonder they're all swanning about thinking they're untouchable
publicly the players, carlo and senior management will be backing j.t...behind the scenes i reckon he'll of copped some grief..........bridgey was a very popular lad amongst the players at the bridge.......
but.....ancelotti has to look at it that j.t is a fantastic player for us.....he'll continue to play him without doubt..
whether or not off field the players reactions will cause j.t to leave remains to be seen.......
Barry is a honest player, quiet off and keeps himself out of the big headlines. He gave his all at Villa but obviously he thought City are going places and going to be a force so yeah he would have a good shout for it.
i can already see the story now........
i was lonely....wayne went to manchester and i didn't want to leave london.....john terry looked after me.....he came onto me and before i knew it we were in bed....i felt awful but he assured me no one would find out.......
i've no sympathy for her or j.t.......i do have sympathy for toni poole and wayne bridge and the 3 kids involved
Spongey that was Macheda you were referring to 4 year deal on ÂĢ50,000, I think Fergie's planning to take his time with him. Welbeck has already been sent to Preston on loan for more experience.
I wonder whats going to happen with Anelka's contract talks?.
as for j.t........he may be a knob off the pitch in his personal life.......but for us he has been outstanding.....and i guess that's all us(chelsea fans)......as fans judge him for....
he can shag the queen as long as he puts in 110% for us...........
but off field he's certainly let himself down..
there's been 8 or 9 stories prior to this one of his infidility......and his wife....(then g/f/fiancee) always forgave him......
be interesting to see how she reacts this time......especially as it's with her supposed 'friend'........
theres nothing on the Utd website about him. He was linked with us but I heard that the teen wanted to stay at Cardiff, they wanted to keep him and he played for them today against Doncaster.
anyways...it was someone!!!!!.........
wish i could find the story or remember the players name.....deffo wasn't macheda...........who else have you got that's rated highly in the reserves??
MANCHESTER UNITED have handed gifted youngster Ryan Tunnicliffe a three-year deal.
Tunnicliffe, 17, has already drawn comparisons with Steven Gerrard and Roy Keane for his all-action style, power and technique.
The youngster figured heavily in United's Under-18 campaign last season and Sir Alex Ferguson has high hopes that he can force himself into the first team if he continues to progress.
Tunnicliffe's incremental contract will see him earn ÂĢ100,000 in the first year, ÂĢ200,000 in the second and ÂĢ300,000 in the third.
I must try and go on the MU website more.
Thats a hell lot of pressure for the kid.
yep it's gone overboard.....whilst i don't condone what he's done.......he hasn't killed anybody.........he's thought with what's between his legs as seems par for the course with j.t.......
there are far worse things going on in the world than j.t having an extra marital shag.......
and the same papers gloryfying in the whole sordid mess will be printing cut out flags urging us to 'back our boys' come the summer........
Yep, the whole thing's gone daft as you say
i've a feeling this won't go away for a while.........the televised game today was more the john terry show rather than a football match..
and with the lady in question signing to max clifford..expect a notw kiss and tell next weekend...
Oh deffo! you can rely on it! like I say....I don't buy papers and if others didn't too, it would help, but hey-ho I'm just hoping it dies down in time for the World Cup matches and he isn't castigated for what he's done (again.........if proved)
