Hey Darlo hon Looks like Webb is the ref tonight...
Webb is an alright ref, better than 67 yellow card man Mike Dean.
Do you think Vidic will be off in the summer?, he has personally denied the rumours but they are still going around.

Here's hoping United do the biz tonight. Gotta fancy Rooney to score

I wouldn't know one ref to another....other than sir alex that is
i'm sure Wiley can vouch for that, Wiley is from the West Midlands and my bro has met him.
That free kick last night RZB.

2nd one he's scored this season, both looked great live, turns out both needed help going over the line. Fulham were poor, not a patch on the side we stole a point off of on Boxing Day, not that they'll struggle this season.
Enjoy fourth, Man City and Villa biting at the heels it's exciting.
I heard about Bale's dodgy record lol on Sky Sports about being in the losing team that was soon put right last night.

Hi guys, really wanted to watch the Man City v Man U Carling Cup game tonight but it's on Sky Sports 1 which I don't have. Anyone know if there's a site that I can watch it on on the internet? Thanks

Evening everyone
Super - if you go to the BBC site and then to the 606 posting boards they usually have people posting links there. I would keep the site open as quite often the plug gets pulled on one link and then another gets posted.
Son has gone up to OT for the match tonight, he misses living in Manchester

Went to Doncaster last night and was rewarded with a 4-1 win. Roll on Saturday for my third game in a week. Have we turned the corner?? Answer = No.

Evening Joe
It's the hope that kills you in the end my friend. I still have the bring back Gareth banner should you need it
Meanwhile, while one obviously wants United to win tonight, we have to laugh at SAF yet again. He boycotted the BBC and would only talk to the scratters on SKY. Now they have turtelly shafted him.

Hahaha we footie fans have long memories.
That was a really interesting article, thanks for posting it. Son has gone up there for the match tonight and can't get a coach home until 4am so he will be hanging around for ages afterwards. I'm a bit worried with all the verbal flying about between the players etc at the club that it will cause problems with the fans.
The idiots really should know better than to light the touchpaper - but what do they care?
Right I'm off to listen to Arsenal TV for the commentary etc, Laters xx

Sorry Veggie
I hate to keep going on about this, but Manchester United's midfield is no where near good enough. Why Ferguson hasn't addressed this yet I do not know. I've been saying this for 2 years. Previously they had the firepower up front in CR so the midfields weaknesses weren't that exposed, but now it's showing badly. It's lucky for them that City have been awful tonight, because United's midfield is just shit. Fabregas will run them ragged on Sunday.
This myth that Fletcher is one of the top midfielders is laughable. He wouldn't get in any of the other top sides midfields. They do miss Hargreaves though.

Grrrrrrr. Chelsea win and we can only manage a goaless draw - and we seem to have got back our habit from last season of hitting the woodwork.
Arsenal just not flowing at the moment - too many injuries causing an unsettled feeling in the squad.

Lol, no need to apologise hun Probably a fair result in the end as we hit the woodwork twice but overall you were the better team. Hard fought and end to end though.
Of the 4 tough matches we have in a row, Villa are the team I least wanted to beat - well obviously I wanted to win but I really want us to beat the others
Know what you mean Veggie, half of me wanted one of us to get the three points,(even if it wasn't us believe it or not) but you have got a few hard games coming up,i hope you keep up the pressure on the others

You'll overrun the gash that is Man United on Sunday though. Extremely lucky team tonight.
Ahh so all the glory supporting yoonited fans across the country now have bragging rights. I see few tourists were throwing bottles at bellamy
As for Garrido, SWP and Zabaleta, they were not even fit to wear that shirt tonight.

Thanks Maggie, I think we'll need some luck if Vermaelen is out, hope he'll be fit. Much as I was against us re-signing Campbell I think he's done ok so far especially up against speed merchants like Young and GabyAgy
Cheryl - we'll have to wait and see. Is Ferdinand deffo out for our match? I'm not sure with him appealing the charge how the suspension works.
hard luck Meaty - my tourist son is in 7th heaven, now lets just hope there's no trouble and idiots like Neville and Tevez keep their gobs shut

Wright-Phillips was bad, but the worst player for City by far was Craig Bellamy who has had a great season so far. He was so wasteful tonight. Got put into some great positions but did absolute sod all with his opportunities.
I wouldnt say Bellamy was our worst player, he was the only player who made us look threatening... took a few crap shots but I would say our defense was a let down. Doesnt help at all missing three of our usual starting four defenders.

Just seen on the news that some moron chucked a coin at Bellamy
WTF is wrong with these people, it's absolutely unacceptable to do that to a player - even Adebayor and I really detest him

Yeah the Sky cameras were on Bellamy at the time, one idiot spoiling it for the majority of the fans, always the promise of trouble obviously withn a derbie and heated atmosphere, hope the idiot is caught they will get United punished for that and rightly so.Credit to City they had their dominant spells in the game, first half was more level but second had it all. That Boyata kid is impressive and creative goal from Tevez but i'm glad we did it and was impressed with the performance.
Well done to Everton also.
