Morning all, what an interesting weekend of Cup football.  Bad luck Onetoo, I really thought you would beat us after the drawn games in the league, but now you have played your two games against us, good luck for the rest of the season and hope we will repeat the matches next season only in the PL.

Reading in the next round, a good draw for us I think, was hoping for a PL side TBH, but we do have a chance of progressing into the next round, though we cannot and should not take anything for granted.  Villa v Wolves would be excellent, although I would have to say I would be supporting Villa again for 90+ minutes!!

Hyia RZB, yeah a cup run does worry me, I would prefer to just have the league to concentrate on, I said on Saturday to some friends that I would have preferred to have the draw or a loss on Saturday and take the three points last Monday.

The only consolation is that we were in the semi finals two years ago and we were still promoted as champions that season, the loss in the semi final really motivated our players in the last few weeks of the season, I would prefer it not to happen this season, I would really prefer just to concentrate on the league as we have a lot of games coming up next month, including the cup match.  The worst thing would have been to draw the game on Saturday, meaning a replay.  We were lucky during the big freeze earlier on this month and last month, we only had one game postponed, the Blackpool one, which is rearranged for early March, but, on saying that, a cup run would make fixtures even more blocked in March and April, with Forest breathing down our neck constantly, we just don't need this!!  Still onward and upward and Ipswich tomorrow night, full Championship programme!!  We need Forest to lose at QPR and us to win, be level on points but we have a better goal difference.

As for Moonie, haven't seen him for ages, miss him as it's nice to have another Baggies fan here to celebrate with and to be miserable with!!

Two of our very promising babies off to Hereford on loan, these two especially Elford-Alliyu are ones for the future.  Didn't realise that John Trewick was manager there, a very, very, very good Baggies player back in the day.

Hi Darlo  we REALLY need to win tomorrow night to keep the pressure on Forest and hope they trip up against QPR, one thing though it is keeping things very exciting in the Championship!

As far as I am aware, Cech is staying at the Hawthorns, Di Mat was not happy with reports that his agent had leaked to the press, he played last week and was very good and with a small squad we need to have all the players we have in the squad and hopefully not get any serious injuries.
