Why would Owen Coyle want to go to Bolton? I would have thought that Burnley was a better place for him tbh.
If he does go to Bolton, I'd be very surprised if AW let Wilshere go on loan there. I know he was quite happy to let him go to Burnley under Coyle but I can't see the same applying to a Coyle managed Bolton.
Well Afternoon then. Ello RZB, see you got a plum home tie again while we got PL opposition away from home *winges a la AW*
I've watched the full match this morning on ATV online, didn't watch it yesterday but listened to it on the Arsenal website as I like their commentary and it's a bit of a superstition to listen to them if I'm not at the actual match.
I dunno about Stoke, I would have preferred a home tie that's for sure but I think it may depend on how Stoke do in the league leading up to the tie. If they are losing and looking dodgy then they may field a weakened team.
I really fancy Spurs to win the cup this year, you have a huge squad of seasoned internationals and Arry isn't playing in the reserves league this season so they are all really keen to get games
Fergie ruled out more additions till the summer at least.
Owen Coyle is a great move for Bolton.
RZB - well that's the thing about any cup game, it's who turns up and plays on the day. i still think overall that Spurs have a great chance though.
Son is fuming about the Man U result - I'm not allowed to talk footie with him at the mo pmsl
A much weaker Man United team than the one that lost to yesterday, comfortably beat a full strength Spurs side 2-0 just a few weeks ago.
What gives Spurs any reason to think they can beat this Leeds United side?
But Leeds are Champions of Europe. Didn't you hear their fans telling us all in song yesterday?
Doesn't matter about the size of squads these days as proved this season the surprises make it a more exciting and it is a results business after all.
Wasn't really a dig Disley as such, just that it seems a sideways move to me for Coyle rather than a step up. I don't know the ins and outs of things like average gates, finances, etc of the two clubs but it seems weird.
Plus Coyle has got his team playing in a way he clearly likes and is comfortable with and that is not the way that Bolton play. If he goes to Bolton and tries to get them to play like Burnley with the players they currently have then it will end in tears.
Just my opinion *shrugs*

Hi PB, just had a read of the E&S and what games the next two will be with Forest and Newcastle.
Glad Graham Dorrans has signed a deal to stay, he seems happy and well done to Chris Wood for his goal he is on the up and will continue to improve
So pleased that both Dorrans and Wood have been given new contracts, like the sound of the player we have signed on loan and just basically keeping my fingers crossed that we can get points from the next two games, and enjoy the Cup matches as a little extra bonus. Martyn Swain also gave us a good mid season report in the middle of the paper - and totally agree with the final paragraph about Neil Clement, who I am really sad about, if and it is looking likely that he won't play again, I hope the club can give him a benefit match and I also hope that he takes coaching badges (if he is not already doing so) and can continue working at the club rather as Michael Appleton (another good player, who's career ended early due to injury) had done. Di Mat has also said publicly that he feels sorry for Clem as he understands how it feels, his career was cut short by injury as well. Clem is one of the good guys of football, always takes time to speak to and have photos taken with fans so whatever happens, if he does have to finish, I wish him luck.
Still surprised about Man Utd yesterday, there is some problems sadly in that team or Leeds wanted it more - who knows??
Owen Coyle isn't stupid, if he decides to come, he'll have his reasons for doing so regardless of what the wider media will tell you. If he turns us down, we move on to the other person we've been negotiating with while all this has been going on....
Gabriel Tamas seems a good player, he was ok with Auxerre but the Baggies defence has tightened up a lot.
As for us i'm sure the players have had the hairdryer treatment, these things have happened before like Southend and Coventry but i'm looking forward to the next games.
It's the rush of getting someone in soon as Disley, having said that the players motivation seems sky high since Megson got his marching orders.
