no chance of Leeds slipping up they've got a decent team for the Championship and if they can add to it have a very good chance of staying up and aiming for the PL in a couple of seasons.

Whoever goes up through the play offs will deserve it on merit, 2nd place is where you want to be though since 1st is guaranteed imo already in League 1.

Back from Goodison Park. Well we lost, as expected. But boy did 3-1 flatter Everton!! Infact, we definitely deserved a replay and if anything deserved to win. I'm sure Everton had a real off day today, but we totally dominated most of that match and after gifting them the opening goal with a stupid backpass that was cut out, we went on to get a deserved equaliser and then could and should have went on and got at least another goal.
Second half we hit the bar and were the better team, but Everton regained their lead on 82mins through Tim Cahill which as it happens was a very dodgy goal (im convinced our player was fouled), then they hit us on the break when we were going for an equaliser and they got a pen which Baines tucked away to make it 3-1. I've no idea how Fellaini didn't get a red card in that match. The ref overall was a joke.

Strike can come on and take the piss all he likes, but in truth his team were well let off the hook today by a League One side. I'm not ashamed, we were never hanging on for dear life today, if anything it was Everton that were but they are through so that's that and good luck to them in the next round.

Megson is a crap manager.  I don't know how he's managed to stay in club management so long.
Carnelian, a person after my own heart, i cannot stand the man!!  He was on SSN saying that all true footy fans were saddened by his sacking and that Bolton fans didn't give him a chance, strange he said the self same thing the magical day we sacked  him!! I worry now that Paul (Judas) Robinson may return to us as he was only on loan at Bolton and the new manager may not want him (wouldn't blame him, badge kissing Judas!!!)   Glad to see Norwich are doing ok as well.

Bloody hell Gareth Southgate is boring!!!!

the midfield has problems
I've been saying that for the last 3 or 4 years. With Ruud and then Cristiano, they've had the fire power up front to cope with having a weak midfield compared to other top teams in England and Europe, but now they haven't and I think it's showing.

This is a reason why I think AC Milan could knock United out of the champions league. The likes of Pirlo, Gattuso, Ambrosini, Seedorf and even Beckham are just better players than most of the Man United midfield.

The sooner Owen Hargreaves is back and fit, the better.

unlucky crunchy, your boys deserved a replay yesterday, a home tie against Forest or Birmingham, i have to be happy with that, who did Man utd get crunchy or darlo
Too right we did. A 2-1 defeat wouldn't have been a disgrace, harsh but not a disgrace, but as P.Neville says, 3-1 was an absolute injustice. Forest or Birmingham at home wouldn't have exactly wet the appetite so not too bothered now.

Beating Leeds in a couple of weeks time to get to Wembley will more than make up for it.
