Realistically the only 2 clubs that I could see Mourinho going to would be Man Utd when Sir Alex retires or Liverpool when they finally get fed up of Benitez.  I can't see him going to Arsenal as Wenger is doing well there, bringing the younger players through and I can't see him going to a Blackburn or Wigan type club (no offence to any of their supporters).  Villa seem pretty settled with M O'N and Man City have just changed manager.

True Onetoo it has happened before but I don't trust them. However I did believe the Sun story about the Ronaldo deal being agreed ages ago and both teams tried to cover it up. Funnily enough the Sun was the one who also leaked the Cashley Cole saga but then again they talk some rubbish also at times

On the subject of Man Ut'd midfield. i think it's the real weakness. I thought it last season and i still think it. When you look at the midfielders at other top 4 clubs, Liverpool with Mascherano, Gerrard and Aquilani when he settles in, Chelsea with Essien, Lampard, Deco, Ballack and co, Arsenal with Fabregas, Nasri, Man United's midfield is very weak compared to those. I can't see Carrick or Fletcher getting into any of those midfields to be honest and Scholesy isn't the player he was. Anderson is just not consistent. United NEED Hargreaves back so badly.


I think the United midfield was exposed for how weak it is in the CL final against Barca and I have a feeling the likes of Pirlo, Beckham, Gattuso, Ambrosini, Seedorf could outclass United's midfield and win the tie for AC Milan.


I really think the midfield needs addressed because previously United have had CR7's ability to run and create things himself, so the lack of midfield hasn't been as obvious, but now there isn't really that explosiveness up front so the team is relying on the midfield more and I think it's lacking.

Basically the owner has turned the loans he had with the club into equity - simply what the Sheikh has always done.

The important lines however show us the reason for him doing it -

Chelsea chairman Bruce Buck said: "The club's debt load has been reduced almost to nil in order to provide more long-term stability for the club. It will also enable the club to comply with any regulations on debt levels which are being discussed by the football community."

Chelsea needs to be debt-free to comply with future Uefa rules. Uefa's president, Michel Platini, wants to ban clubs from the lucrative Champions League after 2012 unless they break even on football-related business.
