Well done Villa!! Third in the league!
Blackburn were robbed!! I sooooo wanted them to win.
And well done Man Utd, 3 - 0 against Wolves, Mick McCarthy his usual blunt self on SSN, though he is Wolves manager - I do like him.

I like him too PB, he is quite honest.Blackburn were apparently dominating most of the second half so they will be feeling disappointed but this will give them confidence.
Yeah well done Villa.
This is why I'm always bemused when Rob Green plays for England, every single time we play West Ham, he makes a mistake that results in a goal.
Not that I'm complaining...

Jesus christ, this is all we need. Why can't we just get an easy route to Wembley?
**Takes Grandstand seat and awaits the arrival of 'toid who may leap up and down and wave her knickers (claret and blue) in the air**
Watford could be going into Administration.
McCarthy's doing OK, for a bloke with a wooden head
ROFL.
So City vs Spurs tonight.
Torres expects Rafa stay.

Piss poor performance, their win was probably more down to how crap we played... Hughes showing his poor managerial skills, we were 2-0 down and he takes the midfielder who actually did something tonight off the field...then takes our most skilled player off aswell I would say our aim is to finish between 8-10th place.
Sylvinho... I won't even bother.

We were fantasic tonight, although city gave us far too much space to play.
COME ON YOU SPURS, COME ON YOU SPURS.

It's always best to wait until after Christmas but even so are we seeing a change in Footie leadership. We can discount the North-East, Yorkshire, East Midlands, East Anglia, South Coast, and South-West.
The Bin Dippers, (Thanks for the expression MMAPP) the largest constituency of eight clubs, appear to be a spent force since Man Utd are only just hanging in there, Liverpool and Everton are spent. Hughes is clueless and has been made to waste money on a load of rubbish. Burnley, Blackburn, Bolton Wigan!!
Meanwhile London and the West Midlands seem to be in the ascendancy. Let's see what it looks like in January.

Titus Bramble
belated comment on Norwich's exit from the Johnson's Paint Trophy at Southampton. Many Norwich fans would disagree but I'm gutted about the defeat, especially after drawing at the last minute and then going on to loose in a penalty shootout - no surprises there! Norwich's record in all cup competitions is utterly pathetic and embarrassing, so I should have been forewarned, but FFS, there's been f all to cheer about for so long as a Norwich fan.
Hey Carnelian, Let's Be Avin You!!!.
Onwards and upwards, play offs main focus.

ha ha, "let's be 'avin you" haven't heard that one before! rollseyes (I still haven't worked out how to add smilies on this site)
BTW, she said that in a match against Man City, and if I recall, it was so motivating it turned a draw into a defeat!

Luton won the Johnson's Paint Trophy last year with a load of Norwich loanees - and they're not even in the League anymore FFS! When the hell are Norwich fans going to get our day out at the new Wembley??? [grimace smiley]

In the textbox where the smiley face is thats where they are all hiding.
Saddlers players are mostly players they got on free transfers or youths from their prolific youth system e.g Matty Fryatt as a former example now at Leicester

About time too for the West Midlands, 6 teams in the area and years of underachieving. At last it seems as if football here is on a upward turn, now all we have to do is keep Villa as a top 4 side, hopefully M O'N will buy in January as I think his chairman will provide money for him, Blues and Wolves to stay in the PL (even though I am not keen on both teams, they are Midland clubs), us and Cov to get promoted and Walsall to get promoted as well and the West Midlands would be up there with the rest providing good teams for the PL. I also so want a Black Country Derby in the PL as well.
Keeping my fingers crossed for Neil Clement who may have to retire due to knee problems, a really good player and a nice man.

, Wolves vs Baggies always the one around these parts.
Villa getting into the top 4 would be such a boost for the whole West Midlands as a whole, hope all the others do well.

That's a well aimed riposte Heatseek. I base my observations on years of attendance and analysis, but I can see that you are more than a match for me.

Hiya Jen, I've a s much interest in the draw as who wins SCD, Is it for both European comps, Bring back the European Cup when it was Champions only entering, 4th place and your in it what is all that about,
unless they want to extend it to top 7 of each league

If I'm honest, I'd want Kelvin (hollyoaks) to win , but it clashes with the TV highlight of the year in the RZB house hold. Take That in Concert, ..Reference:
