Been in the SCD thread and lost touch with scores, well done Villa!! A midland club in the top 4 this is what we want!!

Was surprised at Newcastle today, but obviously pleased, we need to take all chances on Monday as Forest are not that far behind us now and we do not want to start slipping down the table.   Good luck to 'Boro tomorrow against Cardiff, I would like to see them start climbing the table again and well done Ipswich ( though I can't stand your manager), out of the relegation places for the first time this season.

Looks like Liverpool are going to try giving Man United fans a taste of their own medicine by signing their biggest rivals most prolific striker of the decade.

Liverpool are set to resurrect their bid for Real Madrid striker Ruud van Nistelrooy by offering the player a pay-as-you-play deal to move to Anfield.

I think Ferguson should sign him up again. Know it won't happen but still, Man United haven't had a striker like him since. Guaranteed goals every single game he plays. Don't let Liverpool beat you to it Ferguson!

Erm I seem to remember a certain match when City couldn't beat us, we were rock bottom of the PL, it was Christmas and we went on to do the Great Escape that year, so don't write my team or players off.

'Boro really are struggling and I would imagine the knives will soon be out for Strachan, strange I thought before the start of the season, they would be one of the better teams in the Championship and Newcastle would struggle, how wrong I have been.

And Cardiff score, what were 'Boro's defence doing then? Sorry Crossy but I could have defended better.
That was me in defence.

Pretty dreadful stuff but at least my bookie gave me 11/4 on Cardiff so it's not all bad news. Hope some others took my tip yesterday. The rot has set in now. From thinking we had a chance of the play offs I now wonder if we will stay up.

Got in about 10 minutes ago from watching Arsenal Ladies win 8-0 to find we were winning 2-1. Really tense last few minutes listening to the match.
Havent seen any other scores, did Cardiff beat Boro?

It's that Strachan
It's something. Since Brian Robson left we appear to have played the same way. It's like our players feel as though they aren't allowed to attack the opponents goal unless they have made lots of moves. Imagine Olly on the X factor with his over-egged performance and  you won't be far wrong. And we were on the tellybox. And our best player was injured. And our second best player was injured. etc. etc. An awful day out.

Crossy, I really understand how you feel, the frustration that you are feeling about the team at the moment.  I'm feeling nervous about tomorrow night!!

Veggie, great result!!   And the ladies too, who where they playing?

Little bit of info for you about our ladies, not as strong as Arsenal ladies yet, but one day...

Interesting looking article on our website Di Mat saying we have to be wary of Jay Simpson as an ex player.  Will be nice seeing him play again and hope he gets a good reception from our crowd, can't put a link up as I don't subscribe to WBA player.  Also our shirts tomorrow will be sponsored for the first time for a season and half on a one match basis by Blue Square, are they still sponsoring the Conference?

Marathon not a sprint Darlo  but yes I take your point and do agree, still I do have faith that Di Mat will get the best from players he has got and any targets in January, I guessed there would be a drop in form, we couldn't keep carrying on playing the way we have been, now Di Mat will have to show his leadership qualities to get morale back.

Well done Giggsy BTW, always seems like a nice man when interviewed and has been a major part of the Man Utd team for many years now, nice to see that he has won.

Watching the Spanish football on Sky as I will not watch X Factor!!
