Yeah thats it we lost but credit to Villa they've played some great stuff against the top 4 and we've lost against two of them already and beaten one.
Good day for West Mids teams apart from the Saddlers.

Darlo you always take defeat graciously
tis not very often I can crow about the Villa winning

I try to keep upbeat regardless Pengy but it is disappointing.
You had to eventually beat us after all this time of us being a bogey team for you. Up to third woo hoo.

Been in the SCD thread and lost touch with scores, well done Villa!! A midland club in the top 4 this is what we want!!
Was surprised at Newcastle today, but obviously pleased, we need to take all chances on Monday as Forest are not that far behind us now and we do not want to start slipping down the table. Good luck to 'Boro tomorrow against Cardiff, I would like to see them start climbing the table again and well done Ipswich ( though I can't stand your manager), out of the relegation places for the first time this season.

Interesting blog from Peter Beagrie regarding Jim Magilton and his suspension from QPR. I hope all this works against them on Monday obviously, but do wonder how the player would get on around SAF and other managers who are not adverse to throwing a few boots, teapots and sometimes punches in the dressing room.

Totally, big up the Villa doing the West Midlands proud.I hope Cardiff and Forest make the play offs, hope Baggies win but hope Di Matteo gets some cash to further improve the squad.
I know it's in the NOTW, but it would explain why Robinson was suddenly back in the team yesterday...
JLS (no, not the boyband) to Megson... "It's no wonder the players don't want to play for you!"
The only negative about the story being the wally with the brolly being mentioned as a potential Megson replacement...

Megson is losing the dressing room, ha ha it always happens.
Is anyone watching the 'Boro v Cardiff match on Sky and seen Cardiff's goalies kit - it's a rather fetching shade of pink!

It's definitely Cardiff was getting my teams wrong then!!
Good luck Arsenal later on, looking forward to that match, expecting some lovely passing football.
'Boro defending well. Cardiff are a good team though (as we know to our cost) and Dave Jones is a good manager.

Thats piss poor...

And Cardiff score, what were 'Boro's defence doing then? Sorry Crossy but I could have defended better.
Cardiff score.
Cardiff are one of those teams who are always there or thereabouts in the Championship, they are a good Championship side and have a very good manager in Dave Jones, so I wouldn't be surprised if they do well this season.
That was unlucky
I DO NOT BELIEVE 'Boro couldn't score then, excellent defending from Cardiff.
Oh mentioning their win at the Hawthorns then, saying not many teams have won there this season.

Don't worry, if you get promoted (which is likely), Tevez will run riot there next season
I'm sure he will. But who knows Bednar and Moore could run riot at the COM couldn't they

Looks like Liverpool are going to try giving Man United fans a taste of their own medicine by signing their biggest rivals most prolific striker of the decade.
Liverpool are set to resurrect their bid for Real Madrid striker Ruud van Nistelrooy by offering the player a pay-as-you-play deal to move to Anfield.
I think Ferguson should sign him up again. Know it won't happen but still, Man United haven't had a striker like him since. Guaranteed goals every single game he plays. Don't let Liverpool beat you to it Ferguson!

Fat chance of that ever happening. We definetly need another striker.Well well well we have the Wolves next, just hope we can bounce back from a deserved defeat at the hands of Villa an attacking game through out.
Arsenal vs Liverpool later, who do you fancy to win?.
What about Berbaflop??

A poor mans Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Awww I don't mind Berbatov now, still we need a more attacking player and goalscorer.
I've got a feeling about Arsenal also, but Liverpool always turn it on in the big games...

Erm I seem to remember a certain match when City couldn't beat us, we were rock bottom of the PL, it was Christmas and we went on to do the Great Escape that year, so don't write my team or players off.'Boro really are struggling and I would imagine the knives will soon be out for Strachan, strange I thought before the start of the season, they would be one of the better teams in the Championship and Newcastle would struggle, how wrong I have been.
Hoping for a good match here, love to watch Arsenal play.
Going to watch the match now.

That was me in defence. Pretty dreadful stuff but at least my bookie gave me 11/4 on Cardiff so it's not all bad news. Hope some others took my tip yesterday. The rot has set in now. From thinking we had a chance of the play offs I now wonder if we will stay up.
Bin Dippers leading 1-0
I expect "In rafa we trust" is back on again

We are back!
Glad Arsenal took full advantage of yesterday's results. My bet may not be as unsafe as I thought

Ooh ok Joe
Sorry didn't know. I did see that Cardiff were leading when I went into the bar at the Ladies to get a coffee during our half time (at about 3pm) but had heard nothing since.
It's that Strachan

It's something. Since Brian Robson left we appear to have played the same way. It's like our players feel as though they aren't allowed to attack the opponents goal unless they have made lots of moves. Imagine Olly on the X factor with his over-egged performance and you won't be far wrong. And we were on the tellybox. And our best player was injured. And our second best player was injured. etc. etc. An awful day out.
Ryan Giggs Sports Personality of the 2009. He totally deserves this award for all that he's done during his playing career, a professional and gent worked hard and very down to earth deserves all this respect and recognition.
Crossy, I really understand how you feel, the frustration that you are feeling about the team at the moment. I'm feeling nervous about tomorrow night!!
Veggie, great result!! And the ladies too, who where they playing?
Little bit of info for you about our ladies, not as strong as Arsenal ladies yet, but one day...

Interesting looking article on our website Di Mat saying we have to be wary of Jay Simpson as an ex player. Will be nice seeing him play again and hope he gets a good reception from our crowd, can't put a link up as I don't subscribe to WBA player. Also our shirts tomorrow will be sponsored for the first time for a season and half on a one match basis by Blue Square, are they still sponsoring the Conference?

They may aswell give it to Adebayor next year then...
An insult to some of our best athletes to hand it to him

Well done Veggie on the Gunners score, hope you are well.
PB Baggies need to knuckle down quick now they're losing ground on keeping clear of the chasing pack.

Marathon not a sprint Darlo but yes I take your point and do agree, still I do have faith that Di Mat will get the best from players he has got and any targets in January, I guessed there would be a drop in form, we couldn't keep carrying on playing the way we have been, now Di Mat will have to show his leadership qualities to get morale back.
Well done Giggsy BTW, always seems like a nice man when interviewed and has been a major part of the Man Utd team for many years now, nice to see that he has won.
Watching the Spanish football on Sky as I will not watch X Factor!!
