Brilliant result for you Lacey, thought of you when watching the match!!    I'm glad to see you pulling away a little from the bottom three.

Over the moon about the Baggies yesterday, another 4 goals to the total and a gap developed between us and Leicester in third place, I can now see it being a 2 horse race to the end of the season, unless we hit a really bad patch, thing is though we do have so many scoring options, that even if strikers don't score, our midfield is capable of scoring goals.  Mazzy, really pleased about Spurs as well, Harry is having the magic touch with you this season, still I do like him as a manager, he is down to earth and honest as well.

Just watching the FA Cup highlights and reminding everyone that the 3rd round draw when most of our teams come in, is this afternoon at 3.50 according to my hubby, wonder who we will all get?  And good luck to Wolves today, even though by no means could I be classed as supporting them, I like Blues even less and hope that they win!!

Maggie, shame about Villa yesterday, hope they get back to winning ways soon!  Thanks for the comments about my post, rightly or wrongly I wrote what I felt about the place, I do like it here but dislike the negativity that sometimes goes on.

Getting a lot better and managed to go shopping yesterday for the first time since the flu, was pretty shattered at the end of it though.

He is, really friendly guy. Spurs deserve to be where they are at the moment due to all the disappointment of previous seasons, still a long way to go though as we all know.

Arsenal on wednesday and Chelsea next Saturday we're gonna struggle.
2 tough games, you got a result against Liverpool now it's time to up the ante, you never know.

So he wants to keep Micah Richards?.
darloboy (Play The Game!)
I used to really like him, shame he has lost all his confidence he's a shadow of his former self.

Bellamy is doing great though, he is giving Adebayor, Tevez etc a run for their money when they are clearly better players.

I'm addicted to GTA IV again.

I've not really seen or heard anything of yesterdays game because I was at a family event all day, but I do find it interesting that Megson's magnificent summer signings were out of the defence, with last seasons defence reinstated, and it was apparently a marked improvement.

Nice to know he's wasted £10m then...

The "wonderful" Paul Robinson not playing then??  Megson's on borrowed time now - and he knows it.

Disappointing. Vermaelen's been superb all season so far. Seen them at the Stadium of light last week and although they lost, Vermaelen was superb.

Anyone watching el clasico tonight? Hopefully Barca will see Madrid off.

Thanks, i was part of the footie thread on C4 and the old gagajoy forums

Kettering 1 Leeds 1  I was in mixed feelings about this match, I want Leeds to concentrate on their excellent league form. but you can't turn your nose up at the revenues from a good cup run.  I never want to see my team get beat, but I was happy for Kettering to have some good memories of getting our scalp. The last thing I wanted was a damn replay, that will interfere with the league sadly.
Can't believe the draw, Man United. Well done to Kettering today, and if you beat us at Elland Rd, you have a fantastic prize ahead

We will destroy you. The best you can hope for is a replay but really you wouldn't want that because if you're gonna go out then you might as well go out by the odd goal at home than be absolutely humiliated away at a League One stadium.

Anyone see Zlats goal for Barca tonight? Superb.

Cristiano had a shocking game by his standards and missed an absolute sitter that Kaka put on a plate for him. Very enjoyable game between 2 great attacking sides. The La Liga title race is fantastic this season.

Looking forward to the League Cup action this week, Spurs will be a very tough game for us as they are in such great form.

Other games look interesting.

Glad Barcelona beat Real Madrid, they are the best team but Madrid played better first half and had more chances only the substitution worked for Barca. I still wouldn't rule out Sevilla in chasing them and I think Valencia have a good chance in finishing 4th.

Good on the FAI for trying because lets face it they was robbed but I do feel they are wasting their time because no way are FIFA and that pompous clown Blatter are going to listen, they got what they wanted in the end...

You might be right but I still expect them to qualify for the Champions League, looking at their squad it's strong in most positions and I think they will buy more players and improve on it. I do have a soft spot for them.

Brazilian president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has indicated he supports England's bid to host the World Cup in 2018.

Good man, support of someone from Brazil is some proof we can host it still a long way to go... it will be so exciting if they do give it to England for sure.

Is it this weekend, the draw the 2010 group stage. I'm not sure of the seeded nations.

I watched the 69ers play Munich last night, a total disaster. I see the 'Boro have drawn the cheating Mancs yet again. We seem to have drawn 'em almost every season at some time. No doubt Hughes is already priming someone to fall down in the penalty area for no apparent reason. Like himself, Roy Keane, Ronaldo and all the way back to Francis Lee.
