From today's Daily Telegraph:
Man United expressed an interest in saving disgraced footballer, Marlon King's career. He is due for release in the Summer 2010 and Alex Ferguson a long-time admirer of King stated "I think the boy can turn things round and become an integral part of what we are trying to do here..."

Says it all about that club if its true I expect he will go from a zero to hero with the rags.

Stunning goal by the Irish. Kevin Kilbane releases Damien Duff with a lovely first-time pass and the winger cuts a perfect ball back for Robbie Keane to finish right-footed into the corner. The French fans fall dramatically silent as the visiting supporters go absolutely berserk. Amazing.

LOL Strike  Where have you been hiding my love?

Believe me I've already said on FB what I think of it. Absolutely shocked and appalled that he should behave like that piece of filth Maradonna.
I really can't belive it of Henry. However, they've not long ago had Brian Kerr on 5 live and he was saying that he thought it was just a reflex on the part of Henry and that it wasn't for Henry to own up for his 'handiwork' but for the officials to get it right.
I haven't seen it ( not doing an AW here btw just that I don't have Sky) but I listened to the whole match on the radio and I think it is a disgrace.
You can bet if the Irish had done that, Platini would be building the gallows as I type

Your argument doesn't hold water Meaty. The whole point of having a qualifying group is that the best team(s) on their performance in that group will get to go through.
If France and Portugal are so great then they should have easily qualified from their group. If the Irish had drawn France in a general draw (which is what it was always supposed to be) then it would have been a case of 'Bad Luck Ireland' However. the fact that Platini and Co rigged the playoffs by introducing seeding once France Portugal and Russia didn't qualify by right is bad enough without what happened last night
And I speak as someone who loves Henry and supports France as my second team. The very least is that the match should be replayed, even though as a Gooner the last thing I want is for Sagna and Gallas to risk injury in another game that isn't for Arsenal
