Deman, well done to the Villa another hard earned win, Chelsea will win their next match probably anyway.
My OH was at the game - really wish I had been too! Watched it on Sky though and James Collins was awesome.
Going to be very tough indeed. Giggs, Evra, Vidic, Berbatov and Rooney concerns about then. Berbatov is improving a lot but needs to try and score more. Antonio Valencia is showing his worth though with his pace, running down the wings crossing and creativity for the goal.

Awww always another time but you got the win, what a bargain he was for ÂĢ5 million and this new look defence is really working hard. Villa will be there abouts in the top 6 for sure. Still think you're a bit short up front though.

Yep, I agree. I'm still counting the positives though - I wondered where our defence was going to be at the start of the season, but Dunne and Collins have slotted in brilliantly.
Now if we can just offload Heskey onto some other suckers...

he also needs to cheer up!! he reminds me of when Giggs first broke into the team..he'd score and run without a shadow of joy on his face lolReference:

Absolutely, always January if MON is given some cash by Lerner which he probably will be. They have indeed and putting Cuellar at right back while Davies is out injured instead of his preferred centre back position has paid off but he can play in that position anyway. Warnock has also fitted in, competition is fiercer.

I know haven't seen him crack a smile yet PMSL, at least Berbs is beginning to now he has become a father.
You're welcome to that miserable git,Berbatov!

We'll keep him and Carrick. I knew you would all finally get over him leaving, manner of it wasn't in the nicest terms but he wanted to join and that cash did help you get Keane back.Reference:

I like(d) him as a footballer. I think we've all worked out he's not as good as his agent thinks he is. He don't score as many goals at United as I thought he would. He's getting the games, just not hitting the net, but with Berbatov, you have to look at what he offers around the pitch.Reference:
Great win for the mighty Spurs,of course
as hard as we tried, we just couldn't throw it. Defoe, what an ass....we were so in control, for the first half, then left cletching butts in the second half. Good to see King back though.Reference:

Hi Rzb yup, have to agree with you - he was never bought as a 20+ goals a season man, he was something different that you need sometimes when matches are tight and too predictable - Cantona was like that, as was the likes of Hoddle of course.Reference:

The cash to bring Keane back, came from the cash when Keane left. Leaving ÂĢ8m spare. Republic of Ireland vs France, 2010 World Cup qualifying play offs, now that will be a game.

Republic of Ireland vs France,
I just knew they would get a tough one.
Hiya Darlo.
Hooray for Forest beating Newcastle, WBA back top of the table for now. The Forest are on a roll and can make a push for the play offs. Cloughie will be proud with how they're doing.

Hello RZB. Yeah but we'll have to see if they can do it.

it only seems a couple of weeks ago Forest were in the bottom 3, since beating Derby they've go on & on.
They've spent a lot on re-building their team and deserve all this good luck they're having at the moment, i'm impressed with how they play and who they have brought. They was backed before the season to at least finish in the top hlaf of the table which is possible. I also like watching Cardiff.

looks like it Darlo, but i don't see them being a threat once in S.A.Reference:

I really feel for Ireland. But who knows.... Is it a myth, or did Fifa really introduce the seeding system for the likes of portugal and france, as a last minute thing or were there always going to be seeded? anyone know ?
Here was a blast from the past - Paul Mariner appointed coach of Plymouth!! I wonder if he still sports his splendid mullett..

I always feel with Cardiff, come next May, they would have thrown it. Last season they missed out in the final minute of the final game of the season. Preston made up 15 goals on them in 2 games.Reference:

Didn't he play for Arsenal, I'm sure he played for them the year we won 5-0 at WHL.
Very disappointed Sevilla lost 1-0 against Deportivo La Coruna on Saturday, Barca drawed against Valencia but Inter won 5-0 against Genoa. Bayern Munich are 5th in the Bundelisga. AC Milan won Roma 2-1 grrr, Juve drawed against Fiorentina 1-1 and Real Madrid won 4-2 against Valladolid. I do keep a lookout on European games as you see.

I've got a feeling they will get a play-off place this season. They're a selling team they've had to sell because of the debts, but they have the new Cardiff City Stadium which looks nice but they have always replaced the players who leave with decent talent.

Good luck to him - he's done a great job. I just hope that it works out - too often, it goes wrong when a caretaker moves into a permanent appointment.

, what is going on there?.
Arsenal forward Theo Walcott is facing three to four weeks on the sidelines with knee ligament damage.
Oh dear
Fernando Torres has failed to recover from his injury in time to face Lyon on Tuesday in the UEFA Champions League. Shame, although he will probably be fit to face us.
Leeds vs Norwich tonight.

It's marvellous Darlo!
Alas! Once they get knocked out of the "Champions League" (sic) they'll have their usual last minute rush to the top.
It isn't marvellous for me, them players need a kick up the backside. Nice to see Leverkusen near the top again it's been ages since that happened or seeing them in Europe. Wouldn't it be great if they qualified for the CL for the first time in ages.
