All the afternoons results and match reports, amazing how they did it really when you think back. I feel a childhood/teenage memories blog coming on!!
lol PB I was always amazed by the time we got home from a match The Pink was in my local newsagents! it was never 100% correct of course! I've heard in other parts of the country it was printed in different colours..I'm sure some heathen region had The Yellow...
Portsmouth have confirmed Avram Grant has returned to the club as director of football.

He's really looked after himself fitness wise,
The Argus used to give the full match report and was delivered to the paper shops about 6 pm, I used to have to go and fetch it and always had a read of it on the way home!! It was part of the Birmingham Post and Mail group and was an tradition round here. Sadly due to internet, etc it is no longer printed, but I have the very last issue that was printed.

He's certainly fitter than I am!! I had so much teasing when he celebrated his 40th and had that special shirt with Sheringham 40 on!! My hubby asked if I wanted a Baggie shirt with Titch 40 on as well!!Got Galaxy on and listened to Cheryl Cole's first solo single, what a bunch of rubbish is what I think.
Might be going to watch FC United Of Manchester soon, mate of mine is a fan... bet its full of die-hard rags who hate M Glazer

Ours was an Asian newsagent so open all hours, but always had a queue for the Argus on a Saturday night and the owner would be trying to read his at the same time as he was a Baggies fan as well!!Reference:

lol Hi Darlo our team hasn't click yet..not since a trip to a certain North London club eh...we need nani, anderson, carrick to step upto the plate and stop relying on scholes and giggs eh....Carricks obviously not impressed Fergie this season has he - after having such a good season last season.Reference:

Not clicked yet this year was always going to be a test with Ronaldo going it has made us weaker in a sense but still a talented team, I bet Fergie has sorted them out good and proper this week and gave some much needed wake up calls. I wouldn't be surprised to see him with a touchline ban for those comments either.Reference:

it annoys me this - did you see the whole press-conference? the press clearly didnt - it was only a small part of his comments, the rest he was blamed the result on our own players - but of course that doesn't make a news story does it I think fergies perfectly entitled to comment on whether the ref was fit enough to keep up with the game..all these conspiricy theories are a load of cods-wallop in my opinion - as if fergies plots these comments he's no angel..but he is no where near as bad as he is made out to be.
Right, I'm off to write a couple of blogs based on this afternoons conversation and finish tea, see you all soon xx
