Slim, the sea, so uplifting, that's why I moved to the coast, it makes me feel better, not that I go down to the shore every week. But it's just a short walk when I want to.

I love the sea....the sounds...the reflections...puts my mind at ease instantly!

nah!  there's a bridge across shaldon river to teignmouth....the ferry goes from Starcross to Exmouth...

I don't post much here tbh anymore as I just don't like the layout much. I think they are looking to make it better so I hope that helps.

Veggie, there are improvements planned on here, oct 5th I think or thereabouts, so don't give up. We haven't been here long and the mods are listening to our requests. We have been trying to get in touch with FMs to help show them we are still here.

I do post on other fora and use FB so I am used to different layouts but I just find this one frustrating at the mo and I guess a lot of others do too.

Veggie, I find it very difficult, i only joined gaga not long before it moved here, and I've never been on any forum before. But I've had so much help from Fm's and hope this place does well

Wow I didn't realise that you were that new lowon - I thought that you were just an old fm with a new name.
Most of us were together on the old Channel 4 forum and then went to Gaga together as it had been given to us by the same people who provided the forum for C4 so it had the same layout - which, imo, is the most user friendly of any forum anywhere.
That's what makes it so disappointing that they haven't managed to just move the forum over here as it was. I did ask why and apparently it's some techie incompatability issue - goes right over my head LOL

I came to practice on the sinking ship during the changeover time and glad I did. James was great, still is btw. I feel torn now between the ship and giving my time here. i only occasionally go there now cos i worry if we don't use this, we'll lose this.

Veggie....totally agree the format on ch4 was so so so much easier to use...but don't want to lose the friendships made on there...so we need to make this place as comfy as poss.....let the organisers know of anything you don't like...they are listening!

Slim how long was the ch4 forum running for? just wondering how long people have been together as a group, they seem to be like a family.

I think the old C4 forum was running from when it was just a posting board for The Salon reality show. I know that Angel of the North was around then as well as a few others. I joined the forum at at the start of BB7 but I had lurked for a while before then.
It was really lively in those days - it ran for 24 hrs and used to have about 200+ fms regularly posting.

I only joined 2 yrs ago LowIQ....but have made some really good friends...would hate to lose them!.....Most are on fb with me...but the forum is a much nicer way to talk!....Everyone can join in then!...much more fun!..

WBA yesterday, Liverpool underestimated Fiorentina they're a decent team but Lyon should be a harder game I really did think with their european experience they would score in the second half but was proved wrong as they simply played awful or couldn't find a way through.

You are still there in your required position and two points ahead of the next team.

I previously thought that Newcastle would walk this division and ourselves would be in a battle for second. I remember the first time around at the riverside we actually had world class players and were too good to go down.
We went down.
We have great players now but without a manager we will go nowhere apart from further down.
