I'm all for banning players for cheating but it has to be applied fairly.
My understanding is that the FA of the team cheated has to make a formal complaint for UEFA to act. As Arsenal don't tend to make complaints, it would mean that we were ripe to get cheated with no comebacks for the cheats.

What I would say about it all is this:
From where we were sitting last night it looked like a penalty at first.
Platini is rubbing his hands with glee at a bit more English Team bashing opportunity so hot on the heels of the West Ham v Millwall violence.
Eduardo never appealed for the penalty or rolled around like he'd been shot.
It's a joke that he could receive the same ban as Drogba for his (and Chelsea's) understandable but unacceptable behaviour after their semi final.
If it had been an English player doing it, no one would care.

Eduardo was in the wrong, clearly, and I fully expect that AW (no matter how he backs his player publicly) will have something to say to him about this. I have seen the aftermatch press conference in full and AW looks very uncomfortable.
