He'll be telling his agent to get on the phone to Pep Guardiola if he has any sense.
Fair enough he wants to play in Spain at some stage of his career. I personally think at 24 he should stay in England for another 3 or 4 years at least. But when he does go to Spain he should head to the Nou Camp.

Imagine Messi on the right and Ronaldo on the left? Eeker

Dreadful tackle by Darren Fletcher - and well deserving of a Red card! Crazy

Violent conduct like that has no place on a football pitch - hopefully the FA will issue him with a 20 match ban at the very least!!! Crazy

Didnt know they gave red cards for kicking the ball these days..Big Grin

I thought for a moment he was going to send Giggs off as well for questioning the decision! Eeker

The way this refs going that still a possibility..Laugh

Nod, but he's always dreamed of playing for Madrid if he was to leave i'd still think he would go there. But if I was Fergie i'd sell him to Barca out of spite Laugh.

He tried to do that with Becks, they even accepted a 30 million bid from Barca for him, but Becks always stated he'd only leave for Madrid, no one else. Probably would be the same with Ronaldo.

I duno what the big appeal is about Madrid!? Fair enough when Beckham went they were the best with Ronaldo, Zidane, Figo, Carlos and co... but now they are a shadow of Barcelona.

ahhhhh but earlier you claimed when ronaldo dived for the free kick it was 'the ref chose to give the free kick'......so by that logic........the ref 'chose to give a pen and send fletcher off'....that's the problem....it doesn't always go your way.....

but it's a shame when a player misses a final.....particularly on a decision that's debateable.....though graham taylor is saying the ref is following the guidelines.....

fletcher will be a big loss....i think he's very underated....

Exactly, but he likes the glitz and the glamour of the place. Barcelona are going to be even more better next season and Madrid are just going to be in their shadow even more.

Even if Madrid sign Ronaldo? Ninja

Or do you think Madrid will still have a long way to go?

To be fair to Madrid, I think they rely heavily on Ruud. But him and Ronaldo didn't get on at United (apparently) so should be interesting.

Well 'technically' you can commit a foul even if you touch the ball as well as the man. So maybe it's not as clearly wrong as ITV are making out.

But I must add... I think it definately wasn't a red.

yep on your first point........

and yep again on your second......though i think he's viewed it as denying a clear goal scoring opportunity...

thought ferguson would of been steaming in his interview just now.....but was surprisingly calm about it......
