no way......utd will be up there.....they still have too many class players for this to be a rebuilding season.....

it's only the second game in.....i wouldn't worry darlo.....burnley's first home game backed by a full house...it's the way it goes sometimes..

Hope so but I get the feeling it's going to take time to adjust to the style of play for us now Ronaldos gone. Fergie will be coming up with more ideas thats for sure now Big Grin.

obviously losing tevez and ronaldo is going to hit hard.......but you look at the team you have got...still packed with quality players.......not sure who played tonight though???.....did fergie play the 'big guns'?........

it's never a good idea to underestimate a newly promoted team....

what do you think of foster???.....haven't been too impressed with him so far....i don't think van der sar would've let those 2 goals in against us in the community shield

Just got back from watching City v Tottenham.

Just showed me the men from the boys.

Also as a family born Arsenal fan (from being born in Highbury and taken to every match as a kid) it makes me want to weep saying this, but well done Defoe and Lennon....Superb footballing and an example to teams as poor as us that is Hull City right now.

On the radio a moment ago Phil Brown said the team tactics were not adhered to....what does that mean I wonder...poor team or poor manager...?

I love Brownie but things need to change...right about now I wish we'd gone down.

Its the old newly promoted team syndrome and by that I mean ones who havent been in the league for a long time. I hate us playing them in the first 2 months. They run their socks off get some good results because they are still somewhat an unknown. Then they realise its not a sprint and are a wreck for the second part of the season.
CaptVimes
i'm still not convinced about berbs......owen will be good for you i think....but can he stay injury free????..alot is going to rest on rooney's shoulders.......now if he were to get injured i think you'd be..to say it not so politely 'in shit street'....

so yeah i reckon he may go for another striker....problem is..he's chucked 30 million at berbs.....will the board sanction more money for another player in that position?

Berbatov has to work more harder Nod, when he is at his best then he is at the top of his game but then he just goes into relaxation mode. Owen will prove a bargain without a doubt.

I think we need an out and out striker Smiler.

I dont think he bought Owen to be a starting 11 player. I think he got him to be another supersub like Solskjaer. I will be surprised if he plays many games for 90 minutes.

this is true and I am grateful for that.

But Championship football for us imo was far more entertaining.

New players don't want to come to Hull, which is a right pain.

Well done to City Big Grin. Did Ibrahimovic debut for Barca Meaty?.

Yup, him and messi came on at same timeNod I started to sweat badly... went the whole game defending and only had around 4 shots in total. We only had Tevez up frontLaugh Later he came off for Bellamy.

Lol it's been hot today Laugh. They might aswell just sell the likes of Bellamy in the next transfer window Big Grin.

Awww Lacey about Hull Frowner, but the team might pick up soon and start to get some decent results.

ÂĢ15 at 5/1 wins you 5x15
= ÂĢ75 plus your ÂĢ15 stake.
