Controversial
Well we beat Rangers convincingly pre season while a certain other Norf Lahndan team lost to Celtic
Seriously, I think that at home both Glasgow teams are formidable but away from home - not so much.
Although Celtic overturned a home defeat to beat Moscow away to reach this stage of the draw so who knows.
As a Gooner I would have preferred to avoid them tbh

Hi Darlo
Apparently we could be set to take advantage of all the uncertainty at Pompey by stealing Modeste M'Bami who has been on trial there.
All I know is that he's a midfielder from Cameroon who has played for PSG and Marseille.

Aston Villa sign defender Habib Beye from Newcastle on a three year deal according to Sky Sports .
Nearly time for League One footie!
Nearly time for the Canaries to show League One how it's done
Bring it on League One! After last season I was glad to see the back of football, now everything's all new and expectations are raised.
No c**p expensive loanees sponging off the club, no paying arrogant Prem clubs for the privelege of training their crappy fringe players.

Hiya Carnelian , good luck to Norwich but has Delia gone yet lol I remember all your rants at her on C4 last I heard she was looking to sell. I keep my eye on Walsall results and the local paper is so useful .

Hi, LOL indeed, no the old trout is still meddling in things she doesn't understand.
Delia will never sell. Norwich will be in the Conference before she gives up her toy. If Norwich have a whiff of promotion this season she'll come out of her bunker to milk the reflected glory.
Opps, there I go again!
Oh dear Lets Be Having You .
She is an idiot I'm afraid and I feel for you.
I think she should stick to cooking and get out of footy.
The Lets be having you moment has got to be one of the most toe curling moments in footy history.

Kick off for the Championship in 10 minutes!!
feels good having something to watch rather than wait til 9.00pm
I hope Leeds go up , but the most pleasing thing is if Walsall manage to get a top 10 spot considering the likes of Anthony Gerrard has gone to Cardiff, Chris Palmer to Gillingham and some of the older players gone they've had to rely on free transfers and have signed some decent players with a young squad.

I also check out how Walsall are doing, and have gone a couple of times, when the Baggies are away.
And here we go............... the teams come out.....
What match is it Pinkbabe?, i'm gonna watch Eastenders .
'Boro v Sheffield Utd Darlo on SS 1. Just kicked off.
One minutes applause for Sir Bobby and the fans singing "Theres only one Bobby Robson", not ashamed to say, still tears in my eyes.

It will and will be especially so at our match. Some of his ex teammates will introduced before the match, and we are playing some of his favourite songs before the match. There is also going to be chances for fans to sign the book of condolence that we have opened. (I went yesterday).
I am not ashamed to say when they show K.O. on Soccer Saturday tomorrow, I will cry and at our match I will be in floods of tears.
Nearly 10 mins gone, good open match so far.

It sure has affected lots of people because he's such a legend and there will be lots of tears tomorrow. He deserves all these things in his honour and he'll probably be smiling now he's free from pain .

Hyia Veggie yeah saw it. Absolutely respectful by everybody there, and AW looked quite upset I thought.
This is a good match so far, plenty of chances and some good play by both teams.

Hi veggie
I hope Norwich do him justice tomorrow and put aside his strong Ipswich connection, there may be a few idiots in the crowd who can't see past the tribal rivalries.
But I expect they'll be put in their place.
Loads of messages of condolence on the main Norwich forum, which was good to see.

Can't say I share your feelings there darloboy, I hope oh-so-massive club Leeds stay down. Huddersfield are tipped as strong challengers so it would be amusing for them to go up over Leeds.
Aside from that I'm not really bothered who goes up with Norwich, although I suppose Colchester and Southend are 'kind of local' although not really.
I'm surprised at a Man U fan wanting Leeds to go up, but I suppose they're no longer considered your rivals.

Hi Carnelian (Can't get used to calling you that )
I think the Emirates held a minutes applause before the matches rather than a minutes silence because of the huge amount of Rangers fans there - I think they were worried that they would not respect a silence for an English manager.
Perhaps Norwich should do that too
