Now we will have to change the words of our Eduardo song - well we won't really but it's not the same to diss a Sunderland player as a Spurs one.

Good morning Footy Fans
I'm sad to see Alonso go but happy we found a replacement and so quickly, getting rid of Chief Exec Rick Parry is paying off already

Strong team out there tonight and 1-1 now Super Stevie Ireland just bagged one. We are a huge threat when in attack but defense is poor, no one marking up. Rangers just queued up to tap one in.
Given, Richards, Dunne, Toure, Bridge, Barry, De Jong, Etuhu, Ireland, Robinho, Adebayour Subs: Taylor, Zabaleta, Petrov, Ben-Haim, Bellamy, McGivern, Weiss, Clayton

Afternoon Footy fans
Hi Tom - lol that was cutting it fine wasn't it!
From a BBC Blog today : "I hope that some of the unfashionable and cash-strapped clubs like Bury and Rochdale are able to push for promotion again. Alan Knill and Keith Hill did extremely well while working within tight budgets last season but just fell a little short at the end."
how very dare he Rochdale, maybe...
Also watched Man United last night...oooo Valencia (the player not the club )really looks like the real deal .
They also fielded a couple of young 'uns De Laet looked really exciting...

Arsenal have done well to avoid some big teams.
Arsenal vs Celtic will be an interesting match indeed .
Hi everyone - this game will make what is normally a very dull & obvious qualifying round a bit tasty !

I wouldn't underestimate Celtic in European competition.
Especially when it presents the opportunity of getting one over the English.
Nemanja Vidic to miss start of season due to calf injury .

That's a bit of a generalisation.
Whilst they don't play on paper I would say, that on paper, Celtic should struggle to beat anyone in the Premiership or Championship. As you say though, one-off games are a bit special and they may do well.
I think Celtic and Rangers would stand a decent chance of beating a team from the Premiership or Championship .
have they said how long for Darlo?quote:Originally posted by darloboy07:

About 2 weeks probably. Wes Brown, Gary Neville and Edwin Van Der Sar are injured also. Edwins injury is worse though. Community Shield weekend also .
I know I've been reminded by the OH How are you honey?quote:Originally posted by darloboy07:quote:Originally posted by love greek sunsets:have they said how long for Darlo?quote:Originally posted by darloboy07:

In their top League one week they play Rangers, the next they play the equivalent of Rochdale or Barnsley. I don't think at the moment that either of the "Old Firm" would last very long in the Premiership, and would struggle playing so many games against decent(ish) Championship sides.
