i do agree that we need to strengthen our squad - hopefully Moyes will get the money from the lescott deal and they better make sure it is a one-off payment, not the ÂĢ1.50 a week that we get off the rooney deal
The negotiator in that deal must be feeling extremely happy with himself
apparently we get a 25p bonus for every trophy he wins too
really going now bye pip bye everyone

These days don't know what to believe, I mean who would have said Robbie Keane was going to end up back at spurs when he first moved? And 3 years ago the prospect of Robinho at City was madness Strange things can happen....
Bye barney
True Pip it's the uncertainty about whats going to happen which is interesting .
I have a feeling I am going to love this season, ahh I can't wait.

Would love to see him at the Lane but it'll never happen , too highly rated at Chels + can't see him signing for us
Although you never know for sure .......
Does anyone have virgin and have an idea on price for the footie? I always get my Sky Sports (and what was setanta) cut off at the end of the season, coz we wont watch other sports. Just wondering how much it'll cost now with the new channel?

"ESPN is also available on Virgin Media in standard and high definition as a part of the XL pack. M or L pack customers can subscribe to ESPN and ESPN HD for ÂĢ8 a month if they already subscribe to any combination of the Sky Sports channels or ÂĢ10 a month if they do not. Both channels are available for free to Virgin Media customers throughout August."

He is still hanging around ... somewhere. there are lots of rumours of shall we say 'extra-curriculur' activities he likes that the club frown upon plus he had that incident earlier in the year where he had a big public fight with his Dad ... in front of his kids I think
We appear to have purchased Leroy Lita and loaned out Mido back t'Egypt.

I would say keeping Wheater and Adam Johnson is the most important thing for the Boro, good luck for next season in trying to come back up going to be very tough .

I dont see why, Wenger never wanted him to go. It was a matter of not being able to meet the wage demands. I dont see why it has to be a case of anyone being right or wrong here.quote:Originally posted by disley21:
If Vieira signs for Arsenal, that'd be like Wenger is admitting he made a mistake in letting him go in the first place. A lot of managers don't like being made to admit that, so we'll see if Wenger is too proud to do so.
If we have a use for him even if he is now somewhat older (I think we do) and presumably his wage demands arent going to be what they once were back then I dont see why not.

I've not heard of Delph, is he a youngster?
The Arsenal babies are playing up at Borehamwood tomorrow night, I might take my friends son up there to watch them.
If I watched BB this year I could nip to the studios on the way back and shout over the wall - but as I don't know any of them there's not much point

"But if Gomis is worth âŽ15million (ÂĢ12.7million), Marouane is worth at least as much."
Thats not how it works we dont judge prices by other teams stupidity. .
WE paid ÂĢ12M for Arshavin. Is he as good as Arshavin?

ARSENAL are on the verge of signing Salomon Kalou from Chelsea.
The Gunners have offered ÂĢ6million for the Ivory Coast striker - but the Blues are insisting on ÂĢ8m.
Emirates boss Arsene Wenger is ready to double his weekly wage to ÂĢ60,000 and has offered him a five-year contract. Kalou rocked Chelsea in February when he said it would be an honour to play for Wenger.

Afternoon all, we have signed Gonzalo Jara, a Chilean defender from Colo Colo for 1.7 million, according to SSN he can play either centre back or full back, he is 23 and plays for the Chilean national team. About time too, we need more defenders, can't see him playing Saturday, but would imagine he will feature at some point in the Carling Cup next week.
