Don't worry Veggie, Wenger will use ÂĢ2.5 million from the ÂĢ41 he got for Toure and Adebayor and go out and buy four players nobody has ever heard of and they will become superstars overnight and save Arsenal from epic fail!

And you still have Clichy, as I said earlier he is the most important part of your defence imho. He will be a great for many years to come. Nod

We're really lucky with left backs. Apart from Clichy we've got Gibbs and Thomas Cruise and Silvestre can play there as well.
The new player Vermaelen can also play left back so we have loads for that position.

It's the centre backs that are the problem

I am sure you will be fine. Don't worry too much, Wenger knows what he is doing and I am sure he will bring another CB in. And if he doesn't, well then like us United fans, you just have to trust your managers judgement. Nod

They've been linked with Gary Cahill in the past, they best stay away from him... *shakes fist*

There was never any doubt in my mind Tevez leaving was for the best. Yeah we all loved him, but his goal scoring ratio to games was awful, he often got in the way and took up the same space Rooney was in. And he frustrated Berbatov. ÂĢ25 Million was waaaaaaay over the top, if he scored 20+ goals a season then he would have been worth it, but he wasn't. Not to say he was bad, because he wasn't, he did score important goals and he did add something to the team, but always at the expense of someone else, usually Rooney. In a way like Ronaldo was.

Then the final insult was to say he wouldn't sign for Liverpool out of respect for United fans, then to go and sign for Citeh! Shake Head Showed his true colours imho. He's a mercenary and could have gone to Madrid or Barcelona or Milan, but chose Citeh! Shake Head And then to say Fergie was a liar? Laugh He's really not worth bothering about anymore. We are DEFINITELY 100% better off without slime like him. At least Ronaldo has been nice and respetful about Fergie United and the fans. That's why he will be cheered if he comes back to OT and Tevez will be chased out the ground Nod
langster
At least Ronaldo never hid the fact he wanted to play for Madrid. He even said it in his first year at the club. Tevez was quoted as saying he would stay at United for life if they offered him the chance. Shake Head

Give me a down to earth hard working player like Scholes, Neville, Giggs or Carrick over any of these primadonnas any day of the week. Nod

you're right Darlo - Spurs did royally f**k up that transfer. Got good money but left it too late to get a replacement , he should have been moved on much earlier ( still miss him though - at times arguably one of the most gifted, graceful players to grace the lilywhite )

It's good you have your feeder club supplying you with the likes of hin & Carrick ! Who next ?

Not yet, will have a look at it though if you give me a link Smiler

I have a full time league with Yahoo and the other forum I use. We do bet on it each week as well, and I am playing in that league with two professionals who make thousands a year off private bets on FF. It makes it very tough but very interesting. And with yahoo you can change all 11 players each week if you want, hence why we like it, it's a full time, full season thing. Smiler I haven't a hope in hell of beating the two professionals, but I always live in hope. And get well chuffed if I beat them a few weeks of the season Big Grin

Am I right in thinking you guys all do the Telegraph one?

Arsenal, Spurs and Citeh aren't interested in Veloso, but Sporting Lisbon would like people to believe they are in order to start a bidding war. They've been trying it for three straight transfer windows.

I have this from someone who knows what he's talking about as well...

Anyway, Bolton beat Den Bosch 2-1, debutant Sam Ricketts got the first goal, with Kevin Davies getting the second.
