Don't worry Veggie, Wenger will use ÂĢ2.5 million from the ÂĢ41 he got for Toure and Adebayor and go out and buy four players nobody has ever heard of and they will become superstars overnight and save Arsenal from epic fail!
And you still have Clichy, as I said earlier he is the most important part of your defence imho. He will be a great for many years to come.
We're really lucky with left backs. Apart from Clichy we've got Gibbs and Thomas Cruise and Silvestre can play there as well.
The new player Vermaelen can also play left back so we have loads for that position.
It's the centre backs that are the problem

He so is .
Silvestre played some of his best games for United as a centre back! Please don't forget that.
I am sure you will be fine. Don't worry too much, Wenger knows what he is doing and I am sure he will bring another CB in. And if he doesn't, well then like us United fans, you just have to trust your managers judgement.

Wenger knows what he is doing , club can't do nothing if the player decides leave obviously. Fergie has had backing in whatever decisions he made now, i'm starting to think now the Tevez thing was for the best .

They've been linked with Gary Cahill in the past, they best stay away from him... *shakes fist*
There was never any doubt in my mind Tevez leaving was for the best. Yeah we all loved him, but his goal scoring ratio to games was awful, he often got in the way and took up the same space Rooney was in. And he frustrated Berbatov. ÂĢ25 Million was waaaaaaay over the top, if he scored 20+ goals a season then he would have been worth it, but he wasn't. Not to say he was bad, because he wasn't, he did score important goals and he did add something to the team, but always at the expense of someone else, usually Rooney. In a way like Ronaldo was.
Then the final insult was to say he wouldn't sign for Liverpool out of respect for United fans, then to go and sign for Citeh! Showed his true colours imho. He's a mercenary and could have gone to Madrid or Barcelona or Milan, but chose Citeh! And then to say Fergie was a liar? He's really not worth bothering about anymore. We are DEFINITELY 100% better off without slime like him. At least Ronaldo has been nice and respetful about Fergie United and the fans. That's why he will be cheered if he comes back to OT and Tevez will be chased out the ground

Tevez can claim all he wants it was for first team football but it was for the cash, when he comes back to OT now he won't get any cheers thats for sure . Ronaldo is no angel either he's got arrogance and kept messing us around but Madrid was his dream he's got it we've moved on so has he but he still has an affection for Utd and us fans .
They are all the same , all about the cash. when they sign it's their dream to play for club a bla bla bla . Oh how quickly they forget & then have new dreams about always wanting to play for club b.
Mr Berbatoss - you know who you are , you ruined it we could have been so happy together .....

jd , the way United went about the Berbatov deal got critcised. Berbatov himself decided he wanted to leave, he couldn't be forced to stay there Spurs got ÂĢ30.75 million out of it which was used to buy other players so everyone was a winner. I know some are still unhappy but things move on . Yeah footie is about money thse days sadly .
At least Ronaldo never hid the fact he wanted to play for Madrid. He even said it in his first year at the club. Tevez was quoted as saying he would stay at United for life if they offered him the chance.
Give me a down to earth hard working player like Scholes, Neville, Giggs or Carrick over any of these primadonnas any day of the week.

Rooney is class , but players like Scholesy, Giggsy and G Neville are true proffesionals and the backbone of United .
you're right Darlo - Spurs did royally f**k up that transfer. Got good money but left it too late to get a replacement , he should have been moved on much earlier ( still miss him though - at times arguably one of the most gifted, graceful players to grace the lilywhite )
It's good you have your feeder club supplying you with the likes of hin & Carrick ! Who next ?

Feeder club , Fergie just was impressed by both players. We might be a feeder club for Real Madrid though but they're not getting Rooney or any of our players now .

LOL!
He's a genius and a joy to watch. i so wanted Fergie to sign him
He scored me shed loads of points in the Euro 2008 FF league. I came 32nd out of over 3 million people I was 3rd after the 3rd round of matches as well. Got well nervous and was literally shitting bricks Knew it couldn't last though LOL! I was chuffed to hell with 32nd in da world though
Then got brought back down to earth with last years main FF season and came 4th in my league and 9,865th overall
I applaud that effort - Fantasy Footy is so , so difficult. 32nd is chuffin brilliant !
Thats cool Langster .
Blimey!!Thats good,Langster!Have you joined the gaga league?
Cheers JD
Yeah it was cool, Ronaldo actually cost me dear, my persistence in sticking with him for Portugal cost me mucho points, but can't complain. I think the Euros were easier than the regular PL season, it was obvious who would do well and who wouldn't.

Not yet, will have a look at it though if you give me a link
I have a full time league with Yahoo and the other forum I use. We do bet on it each week as well, and I am playing in that league with two professionals who make thousands a year off private bets on FF. It makes it very tough but very interesting. And with yahoo you can change all 11 players each week if you want, hence why we like it, it's a full time, full season thing. I haven't a hope in hell of beating the two professionals, but I always live in hope. And get well chuffed if I beat them a few weeks of the season
Am I right in thinking you guys all do the Telegraph one?

Arsenal, Spurs and Citeh aren't interested in Veloso, but Sporting Lisbon would like people to believe they are in order to start a bidding war. They've been trying it for three straight transfer windows.
I have this from someone who knows what he's talking about as well...
Anyway, Bolton beat Den Bosch 2-1, debutant Sam Ricketts got the first goal, with Kevin Davies getting the second.
