We got Toure... Wave Thumbs Up

We have a friendly with you on Saturday. I know it will be the reserves as you are playing Barnsley at the same time put was wondering who maybe playing against the Millers.

Sorry i don't look into the reserves much, the website never gives any results on their games either. The only updates fans can get on them is on the bluemoon forum. Im guessing the likes of Ched Evans, Etuhu and maybe Onuoha. Onuoha got a place in the starting 11 for the vodacom final though so he might not be playing Confused

Great for speed but nothing special, with all the new signing he will struggle to get a place in the starting 11 so choose someone else... this wouldnt happen to be fantasy prem league would it?

Morning all , Crouch is a big improvement on Bent - or do you not agree ?

I'm not a big fan of Crouch, a bit over rated
if you ask me, I couldn't work it out when Liverpool bought him a few years back,

But he's a Spurs player now, so we'll see,

Feel for Bent, his price tag has hung round his
neck like a lead weight, he was given a chance
when Harry first came , started scoring, than just stalled, I hope he signs for a premiership club, and does well.

I didn't realise that anyone else was interested in The Tour de France. Really enjoyed it this year. A few years ago I went to one of the alpine stages.

A couple of years back, when the first leg started in London, the race went past the bottom of my road, I had never been interested in it up to that stage. A great spectacle.

totally agree , Crouch is not world class but harry/levy are slowly improving the squad without busting the bank. He will score goals & will create/hold it up well. Good bit of business at 10/11/12 mil whatever it is.
I really hope Bent does well at wherever he ends up - was never a 16.5m player - he cost more than Thierry Henry that summer !
He is a confidence player and 4 years has had none

Never really caught on has it?
When you think of what Cavendish and Wiggins have achieved this time around.

Morning Joe.
They've done brilliantly!
I couldnt believe that 1 million people turned up for the penultimate stage...and this wasnt in a city!!Up the back arse end of nowhere up a mountain!!

My step dad knows Sean Kelly and his family and my cousin was a professional cyclist for a while,so it's always had an appeal to me.One of my ambitions when the kids are off my hands is to spend 3 weeks following it Smiler

His fee was a complex issue, as these thing are these days , it was all based on total appearance for the club & achievement at the club, We only paid something like ÂĢ3m to start
with which went straight from Charlton to Ipswich as it was part of the agreement when he joined Charlton, I bet we've not had to pay as
much as another ÂĢ5m.

Will be interesting to see squad numbers - where will the 4 strikes figure ? Might get an idea of the first choice pairing. Really hope Pav has a great season , like him and would be a mistake to let him go already.

Pav has been a bit like Bent in the way he don't score all the time, or when you need the goals, I'm not 100% he's the player Tottenham thought he was, hope I'm wrong, it shouldn't be a luxury to get a goal from a ÂĢ15m player, but we panic bought him, with a more settled season
he may do well. It's the midfield we needed to cover rather than up front I thought, and the defence is a shame at times, Yet we chase forwards all the time.

I saw it on Sky Sports website this morning.

To be honest, I kind of guessed he wanted it. You could just tell. But I have my reservations, YES! he is a great manager, no doubt about that. And YES! he does win things consistently, but all his teams play the most boring, negative and dull football imaginable. So for that reason alone I am not sure. I would prefer Martin O'Neil, David Moyes or possibly Cantona who said he would be interested in the job, but he has no experience so would be a big risk.

I dunno, I don't want to think about it until the time comes Laugh Razzer

What do you think mate?

OI CHEEKY!!! Razzer

Don't worry I think West Ham are in safe hands this year. Zola is not only a truly great player but he is a very nice chap and I bet he will be a great manager as well. Thumbs Up

He seems really switched on, him and Steve Clarke make a really good team, and towards the end of the season even though half our squad was crocked, we were playing some sexxxy football, which I can't be mad at.
We would have made it into Europe if Berhami hadn't gotten injured, but I'm glad we didn't because our squad simply isn't strong enough to handle it.
Would have been nice though Frowner
