he was never going to leave Chelsea hes Chelsea thru and thru City are as SAF discribed them the other day just a sad small team who think buying every player under the sun will get them into Europe and win them the PL Nod Thumbs Up.

Exactly what Chelsea are doing isnt it? Roll Eyes Chelsea bought the prem few years back... we are doing exactly the same. So your saying you are a sad small club trying to buy the champions league cup?

Chelsea = A sad small team who bought the PL... and are now trying to buy the Champions League Laugh

That poster was put there to piss the rags off and baconface took the bait. His obsession with City is getting boring... whenever a manager takes a swipe at city, it proves that we are a threat to themSleepy

Chelsea had a strong base to build on when roman brought the club it had just got into the CL and had players like Lampard Terry and Gallas Chelsea just needed a good manager and few more good players to make a strong challenge for the PL City have nothing of that there just buying and not looking a few seasons into the future like we did back then .
Lister_of_Smeg
Chelsea have money to spend when they want, but they have realised that money doesn't automically guarantee sucesss it is through hard work. All the top teams have the money but you need that extra special something to keep on top. Teams like Villa and Everton on limited resources should have more credit for making the most of what they have got and qualifying for europe and doing well in the cups Smiler.

Not ashamed to admit I cried when I saw him yesterday and have tears in my eyes now thinking about it, a gentleman in every sense of the word, and he is a true legend. Frowner

Didn't see Pinkbabe but it's such a shame Frowner. Sir Bobby is such a legend and it's upsetting to see him like that. Very nice man and football is in his blood Smiler.

Citeh fans said that last year.

You spent most of the season in the bottom half before scraping 10th.

Unfortunately, you seem to be taking the Real Madrid approach to transfers rather than actually trying to sign players that would fit into a team.

And that's where Citeh will go wrong.

Sorry Darlo, just seen this. Starting lineup

Vito Mannoe

Armand Traore
Kolo Toure
Johan Djourou

Aaron Ramsey
Alex Song
Jack Wilshere

Nicklas Bendtner

all subbed at half time apart from Ramsey, Wilshere and Eduardo.

Subs
Wojciech Szczesny

we won 5-0 in the end, they had a comedy penalty kick which missed Big Grin

Naturally, what with the PL moving ever closer to being decided by who has the highest bank balance, rather than who has the best team...

Success is relative of course.

If Citeh don't finish in the top 4 this season it will further cement them as a laughing stock.

If Bolton don't... nobody will care, because we haven't been mouthing off about winning it all...

who are you playing good to see Eduardo scoring hes a very good player that you have really missed Nod.

hey Lister Wave
We were playing a Hungarian side called Szombathely.

Report here if you are interested

There were some good performances tonight, excellent link ups and good to see Eduardo looking like he did pre the injury.
They were a difficult team to play, a bit like Bolton. Close you down quickly, tackle hard, chase every ball.
The 4-0 at half time flattered us tbh but we took our chances well

No one said we expect to finish in the top four THIS season... the owners made clear of that aswell in interviews. Its going to take time for the team to glue together and that won't happen in 2-4 weeks. A laughing stock? No... if we got relegated then yes we would be. But no one said we would finish in the top four... in 2-4 years time then it would be possible to challenge Arsenal, Liverpool, Man Utd and Chelsea
