Still would love to go to OT though...

Hug Valentine, got a soft spot for the Baggies. Just chaos with parking spots, the Metro can be a nightmare too lol but at least you get there and enjoy the match Thumbs Up.

The worst away ground we have found to get to is Southampton, the signs for the ground disappear and you end up driving round Southampton hoping to find something that looks like a football ground!

Parkings not too bad Smethwick side, if you head towards the end of Halfords lane and turn right onto Dartmouth Road, the plant hire place lets you park there for a couple of quid. Orginally from that way so usually find a side street we can park in or failing that go by the 79/74 from the bus station, but they get really crowded.

Metro. don't bother with it, just in case it decides to break down.

Thinking about what I have put in first paragraph, Halfords Lane is always busy match days, so the best way to get to Dartmouth Road is Jt 1 island, take signpost for Smethwick/Birmingham and at next island turn left and then you are on Dartmouth Road, quite a few side roads leading to industrial estates off that road and usually some form of parking.

Away supporters please note: you are usually ok parking round there as well, most Baggies fans are ok when it comes to parking.

Strange it only seems to be clubs he has been at or managers he was worked for that are coming in for him, fully expect on that basis Villa to be the next one.

I'm not keen on him either, don't know what it is but I expect him to be a much better header of the ball than he is, it's almost as if he is scared to use his height advantage.

Europe’s cash-rich clubs may face disciplinary action if they spend too much money, according to new plans proposed by UEFA.

Clubs competing in both the Champions League and Europa League may be part of a ‘financial control panel’ that will regulate spending.

Those that don’t spend lavishly and ‘live within their means’ will be rewarded.

The plans, outlined in UEFA’s ‘Uefadirect’ publication, state: “The aim is for all clubs to be able to live on the income they generate.

“A series of incentives and disciplinary action will be examined at the next executive committee meeting.”

Disciplinary procedures have not yet been defined, but it is suggested clubs that break the rules could be barred from UEFA competitions.

“The key principle on the road towards a fairer and more transparent game is that football should reward those clubs living within their means. This means that clubs shall need to reduce their spending," it adds.

“To be viable, salaries and transfers should be proportionate to the generated income. Clubs should invest in their youth sectors, and use their homegrown talent to reinforce their squads.”

UEFA president Michel Platini will put forward the plans to the Professional Football Strategy Council.

Total bullshit if this is put into action... Real Madrid have been spending for years and just because an english club has knocked them off the number one spot he wants to put a stop to it? This guy pisses me off so much, he wasnt ****ing moaning when he was the highest paid player on the planet for juventus back in the 80s Mad

I'm with you Mr. It seems since Platini got the job, we hear alot more coming from UEFA..time was when you never heard a peep from them Roll Eyes .

RZB are you going to the Wembley Cup?

I'm not Veggie, I decided when it was announced, been to Wembley enough in the last few weeks, it was cheaper to get a 2 day ticket,
which for 2 of us, was geting too expensive for a friendly, plus what with going away next week.

Besides, it's not like we don't get to Wembley every season. Eeker

well the Ealing Road is great for exotic looking expensive purchases that fall apart after 5 minutes - Arry will be in his element Big Grin

I'm going to the Emirates Cup next weekend - 25 quid a day for two matches. It'll be interesting to see what teams he puts out on both days.

Can you imagine if the'd played the Emirates and Wembley cups on the same weekend PMSL
Not just us lot to contend with but a load of Old Firmers looking to have a friendly word with eachother.
