With regards to Tevez, I don't think he'll score as many goals as Owen and given the fact that Fergie has just lost his main goalscorer, is he better off paying ÂĢ25 million for Tevez who is a great player, but is unlikely to get more than 10 Premier League goals per season, or Michael Owen for zero on reduced wages who is a proven goal machine at the top level of club football and international football?

I don't think Rooney will lead the attack, Darlo. He's at his best when he's playing just off the main striker like Gerrard does off Torres.
Owen is the perfect partner for Rooney because Owen is straight down the middle and will lead the attack and will draw defenders deep leaving loads of space for Rooney to roam about.

Fergie will have to decide whether to play Rooney, Owen and Berbatov or leave one on the bench . I'm excited about Antonio Valencia I think he'll prove to be a bargain .

Yeah a centre forward just behind the main striker. As long as he's not stuck on the wing. Although he can be effective there especially on the left.
I like the way Capello uses him, letting him and Gerrard interchange between the second striker role and the left sided role. Gives the opposition nightmares as they don't know who to track.

No i'm happy with the team that we have
, the team morale and chemistry is so strong because they have been together for a while so know the strengths and weaknesses. Ronaldo is going to be missed but I have every confidence in the players and we won't struggle without Ronaldo because they can work harder.
We're a weaker side with out Cristiano. No doubt about that.
But I agree with Darlo, we won't struggle as such. But it's definately a big chance for the other teams of the 'big 4' to try and capitalise and take the titles away from Old Trafford for a few years, just as they did after Beckham was sold.
