One of the best young players I saw last season was the captain of the West Ham reserves when they beat Arsenal at Underhill.
I can't think of his name but he is a defender and he was a really good captain that night, marshalling and sorting your team.

Credit Crunch? Manchester City? Hell no

Our academy has always been fantastic, problem is, especially with these new rules for the Champions League and such, the bigger clubs will poach them, or if they do make it to the first team they will move on because of their talent.
A lot of the newbies are around my age and have grown up supporting West Ham so it's really nice to see them make it like Freddie Sears, James Tompkins and hopefully Jordan Spence have.
But we'll see. I do have the biggest crush on your latest baby who's made it into your team
