It obviously didnt say much to Kaka Wink
How can you accommodate all of Tevez, Eto, Santa Cruz and Robinho?

It doesn't stop Surreal Madrid trying to buy everyone.

Simple. It'll be a front 3 of Robinho Tevez and Eto'o (how good does that look on paper?) with the likes of Santa Cruz, Wright-Phillips and Bellamy ready to step in when injury or suspension or cup competitions.

I think Hughes is missing one major thing though.... that his defence was the big problem last season. It's all well and good having a world class front 3 and good midfielders like Gareth Barry and Nigel De Jong.... then an absolutely atrocious back 4 led by the most over-rated lump of lard of a centre back Richard Dunne. Hughed needs to buy a real top defender to play alongside Onouha or Richards.

Problem is Crunchy, Vincent Kompany is a natural centre back and it's his best position, but Hughes kept playing him at defensive midfield if he played him at centre back then the defence would have been a bit better, but they have got to get some defenders in.

Barry will now go into CDM. Kompany will go into CB if we don't make any signings and M Richards will be leaving.

Oh yeah I forgot about him. But like Richards, he's young and up and coming. They need someone who is about in their late twenties early thirties to lead that back 4. Not Richard Dunne.

Interesting Nod, who's going to be upfront then Robinho and Santa Cruz?. If Tevez joins then there will have to be rotation unless Hughes decides to do 4-3-3 and play all three of them.

Richard Dunne is going to be the first choice next year at centre back because of his loyalty, so if they get another defender it will just be a case of rotating players around.

Naaaah, it's one of the biggest myths in english football that Gareth Barry is a defensive midfielder.

I think it'll be a midfield 3 with either De Jong or Kompany playing the defensive role, with Gareth Barry and someone else, maybe Stephen Ireland unless they make another signing making up the 3.

Good shout. Barry needs someone like De Jong beside him if he's to play that deep.

Like i said before, we are no threat for next season. Maybe in 2 or 3 years time we will be knocking on Arsenals door for a top 4 spot Nod That team i mensioned is very different to what we have now. It will take time for a new team to glue together.

That's what people said about Mourinho's Chelsea team when he added Drogba, Tiago, Essien, Robben, Paulo Ferreira, Cech and Carvalho in one summer. But then again Mark Hughes isn't Jose Mourinho Laugh

Accoring to Martin Swain in tonights Express & Star, Villa fans are beginning to get peed off with Martin O'Neill not buying anyone after letting Barry go, at least they have a maanger although according to the same paper, Alan Irvine will be announced as our manager tomorrow, I will wait and see and keep checking Sky Sports News.

Even though I am a Baggies fan, I would like to see Villa start contesting the top 4, although I do have a soft spot for Everton fans, some of the nicest I have met at the Hawthorns

Alan Irvine is a disappointing choice, but if they can't get Darren Ferguson then they will just have to settle for whoever.

Villa fans just need to keep the faith, MON has done a great job so far of course they are going to be disappointed by the lack of transfer activity but thats due to not much funds but Randy Learner has promised now there will be funds there. I would like Villa to get stronger too Pinkbabe they're doing the WM proud Wink.

I'm disappointed about it but TBH dont know much about Irvine, just what I have read on websites ect. I genuninely hope Villa do well, as I am NOT keen on B'ham City and the soap opera goings on there. I honestly think as well, that with a couple of sensible buys by O"Neill, Villa could really make a challenge next season.

I'm the opposite i'm not keen on Wolves, don't mind Brum. I hope both stay up and Albion join but one of them will probably drop down again.

Theres going to be lots of work for Irvine then if he does join the Albion.

Laugh Mr Meaty seen that pic before Big Grin.
