Yeah Valencia would be a good signing to bolster the attack.
IMO Ribery isn't worth the money he is being priced at. He's good, but he isn't that good.
We should have went for Arshavin when we had the chance.

he's whinging about the amount of tax he has to pay here and how he's taken a paycut to play for Arsenal. Quite right too, the honour of the shirt should be sufficient
"Give over moaning Shava you big girls blouse and be grateful that you earn in a week what most of us take 5 years to earn - and we don't have accountants to find the tax loopholes and get away with paying beggar all."
I still love him though and he is so tiny when you see him playing next to RVP

I'm looking forward to us signing Antonio Valencia .
Arshavin is a quality player, Arsenal are the best team for him he suits the style of play.

It's good to see that the club have issued a hands off warning to any clubs interested in Kevin Davies.
He'd been linked with Blackburn and Hull so far.
I know Allardyce is his ex-manager, but there's no way he'd go back to Blackburn, considering "nightmare" was his most positive description of his time there (and I've personally heard him describe it far more accurately, but I doubt I'd get away with posting his exact words).

Hi Disley , thats great news for Bolton fans he's happy there anyway .
You're getting Sean Davis on a free though, but Megson needs to aim higher for better players lol.
Well we keep getting linked with Miguel Veloso, but Sporting have put a ÂĢ14m price tag on him so I'd say that one is dead in the water right now.
Perhaps if Sporting really want to sell him they may reduce that later on in the window to a slightly more reasonable price.
That's how we signed Okocha after all...

I can't see him going to Bolton Disley, maybe he would if Bolton offered a significant amount of cash as it's about the money these days. Sporting Lisbon don't want to sell him but if he wants to go then they want to make sure that they get a bargain that suits them.
The wages wouldn't be a problem as Anelka was on around ÂĢ85k per week while he was here, it's just the transfer fee that would be an issue.
Our record is ÂĢ8.2m, so ÂĢ14m would be close to doubling it.

It would cost you a bomb for sure, he fancies a move to a team if Sporting sells him that can offer him Champions League football. I'm surprised the likes of Man City haven't enquired about him yet.
With the cash you got it would be better to buy a couple of players, instead of wasting it on just the one player .

Morning footyfans
ho-hum..so Tevez has gone not really suprised..imo Ferguson had it right with Rooney and Berbs being the best combination. So Tevez was never, as a professional, going to be happy...although Solksjaer and Sheringham didnt mind..
I suppose he'll now want a proven replacement..unless he relies on Macheda, Manucho and Welbeck as back-up to berbs and rooney..

They still may get villa, villa and rooney upfront

Hi Tom
Yup possibly i havent seen much of him personally, but his stats and reputation precede him.. would one of berbs or villa be satisfied with being rotated though
According to the bbc..roque santa cruz is having a medical at Man City
Eidur Gudjohnsen is up for sale apparently.
If we were to re-sign him then Megson would win over every Bolton fan in an instant.

Just when I thought we had the 'worst new shirt' award sealed, Newcastle unveil this monstrosity...
Look at his eyes... he's not a happy bunny.

Good Gawd, that's terrible
Arsenal have a new away strip I'm not that keen on - very dark blue - but it's a work of genius compared to that
