One things for sure though about all this...
La Liga is going to be VERY VERY interesting next season. I think it could end up being a classic 2 horse title race, with the lead changing week by week.

Cheers Crunchy Thumbs Up. Deffo will be interesting to watch, secretly hopes Barcelona will win it again Big Grin. Theres teams like Sevilla, Villareal, Atletico Madrid etc who are quality teams too so there positions will change to.

I hope Barca win it too and think they will. I've loved the place since i first went when i was a boy (in my full man u kit btw lol).

As for Atletico, I think losing Torres was a big blow to their developments as a team, but if they keep Aguero and Forlan (Ferguson should have kept him a bit longer) then I think they could do well.
Valencia are the best equipped players-wise to challenge madrid and barca, but from what i gather they're set to lose the likes of Villa and Silva this summer.

Still think it'll be a 2 horse race between Madrid and Barca. I think Barca will edge it though as Madrid might take time to mould their galactico's together.
Crunchy Nuts
Nod Crunchy, Barcelona are looking to strengthen their team too. Sylvinho has already left so they're not sitting back on their acheviements which is great. Shame about Valencia and their debts Frowner, they are a very good side.

Hi LAF Wave, so true you wouldn't think this was the Credit Crunch lol. Ronaldo and Kaka going for that money, when people are struggling to make ends meet it's disgraceful Mad.

Hi Darlo Wave

So true, i wonder what sort of wages ronaldo will be getting at madrid.

Looks like the La Liga will be interesting next season though, but i still hope Barca thrash Real.

The premier league on the other hand will not be so interesting, with what my team in financial ruin and i cant see arsenal doing anything. Looks like it will be chelsea, united again.

Don't say that Frowner
I've had a bet on Arsenal who play in the best league in the world. Nod
I can also reveal that I have never found La Liga remotely interesting. Disappointed
Garage Joe
Barcelona go about their business quietly, they are more respectful as a club would love to see them win La Liga again. Just relieved we have given in to Ronaldo and gave him what he wants, we'll move on Big Grin.

The FA, PL etc should be doing more to help out the lower teams, just look at Southampton and Luton Frowner. No-ones safe well apart from Madrid, City and Chelsea lmao as they will dominate the transfer market.

True, ive never liked la liga but i will definitely be watching now. They have the best players in the world playing in that league - Iniesta, Messi, Kaka, Ronaldo, Xavi just to name a few.

Afternoon everyone Hug

Hi Veggie Wave

Yep you cant deny you have the best youth squad, you just narrowly beat us in the final Wink

Darlo - I would say that my favourite spanish team is Barcelona, the football they play is brilliant.

no surprise on ronaldo ......this of course a few months after stating he was happy at utd....they were the best team....his heart was there.....blah blah blah.......

heard on 5dead that platini is saying he's shocked at the fee given the current financial climate......and according to reports in spain....madrid are on the verge of signing david villa as well.....

exciting times if you're a real madrid fan....

Hi Spongey Wave Hug. I heard Chelsea had put in an offer for David Villa. He'll probably end up at Madrid too but Barcelona should get in there.

darlo...... Wave

they were saying chelsea had been refused permission to talk to villa as negotiations were under way with madrid....

Interesting..., Valencia will have to sell him it's a shame about their debts but they are in the Europa League next season. Heard Drogba wants to stay at the Bridge too which is good news for the Chelsea fans and players Smiler.

David Villa as well? blimey where are Madrid getting the money from?
They could be a real force next season. Kaka, ronaldo, huntelaar, sneijder, maybe villa if they get him, robben, van der vaart

I'm just ecstatic that they didn't get Arsene Wenger.
Don't give a damn about who else they get as long as they stay away from our manager and our players.
Except Adebayor - oh and Gallas Ninja

Of course they will, I wouldn't be surprised to see AW go there when his contract is up at Arsenal - I think it depends on what is happening on the pitch and in the boardroom at the time.
As for Cesc, I would think he is a Barca boy through and through. I would be very shocked if he went to Real.
I think he would go to Barca like a shot - but he wouldn't get into their midfield at the mo
